Metaethics is the attempt to understand the metaphysical, epistemological, semantic, and psychological, presuppositions and commitments of moral thought, talk, and practice. As such, it counts within its domain a broad range of questions and puzzles, including: Is morality more a matter of taste than truth? Are moral standards culturally relative? Are there moral facts? If there are moral facts, what is their origin? How is it that they set an appropriate standard for our behavior? How might moral facts be related to other facts (about psychology, happiness, human conventions...)? And how do we learn about the moral facts, if there are any? These questions lead naturally to puzzles about the meaning of moral claims as well as about moral truth and the justification of our moral commitments. Metaethics explores as well the connection between values, reasons for action, and human motivation, asking how it is that moral standards might provide us with reasons to do or refrain from doing as it demands, and it addresses many of the issues commonly bound up with the nature of freedom and its significance (or not) for moral responsibility, and the issue considering nature and our duties toward it. and so the concept of metaethics conclude in it’s meaning theoretical and applicable domains of ethics.
إن الميتا أخلاق مفهوم شغل حيز لا بأس به من كتابات الباحثين في مجال فلسفة الأخلاق، لذلك حاولت الدراسة توضيح معني الميتا أخلاق، وذلك من خلال تقديم رؤية نقدية. حيث أشارت إلى استنتاجات الميتا أخلاقية، والجانب العلمي للميتا أخلاقية. وبينت الدراسة أن العدمية والميتا أخلاقية تنقسم إلى نوعين: الأول: نوع ينشأ من إدراك إنه ليس هناك قيم موضوعية، والثاني: هو اليأس ويتمثل في اعتقادنا بأن قيمنا العليا لا يمكن إدراكها في هذا العالم وهو يؤدي إلى حجة أخلاقية بأنه سوف يكون من الأفضل إذا لم يكن هذا العالم موجود. وختاماً فإننا لكي نستطيع أن نُكون وجهة نظر مكتملة إلى حد كبير عن مفهوم الميتا أخلاق يجب أن ننظر إلى الجانب العلمي الذي قد نمتلكه، وهذا ينقلنا إلى الأخلاق البيئية، والاتجاه الذي يري أن الطبيعة تملك قيمة أخلاقية في ذاتها بعيداً عن الإنسان أي قيمة لا ترجع إلى فائدة الطبيعة للإنسان، وهذا يرجعنا مرة أخري إلى القيمة ومكانها في الأخلاق وهذا يجعلنا نركز على العبارات الأخلاقية التي تشير إلى القيمة. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
