|a يحاول لا يزال إخوان الصفا مجهولي الهوية ولا تزال الآراء تتضارب حول حقيقتهم، وقد قدم الباحثون فرضيات عديدة محاولين الاهتداء إلى معرفتهم. بعد العرض الموجز لهذه الفرضيات سأقدم فرضيتي التي تقول أن ابن المقفع هو مؤلف الرسائل، ثم وقعت الرسائل في يد أبي حيان التوحيدي، فاستكمل بناءها، وعند اكتمالها أعلن عنها في مجلس الوزير ابن سعدان(1)، ثم أضيفت إليها بعض الإضافات من قبل الأفراد الذين انتسبوا إلى جماعة إخوان الصفاء، سأحاول أن أدعم رأيي بما تسنى لي من أدلة وشواهد.

|b Ikhwān al-ṣafā’ are still anonymous, and opinions are still conflicting about what they are, and the researchers have presented many hypotheses trying to find their knowledge.
