تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على مختلف المتطلبات الواجب توافرها للقيام بعملية الرقمنة داخل المكتبات، والوقوف على أهم المعوقات التنظيمية والقانونية، والمائية، والتقنية، والبشرية التي تحول دون التحول إلى البيئة الرقمية بمكتبات الأديرة الكاثوليكية بمصر، ثم تقديم التوصيات التي من شأنها التغلب على معوقات الرقمنة بمكتبات الأديرة الكاثوليكية بمصر، وإرساء القواعد الأولية لإقامة مشاريع الرقمنة، واستخدمت الباحثة منهج البحث الميداني التطبيقي، وقد تمثلت أدوات الدراسة في استبيان تم تصميمه بناء على أهداف وتساؤلات الدراسة، واقتصرت العينة على ست مكتبات أديرة تمثل أهم مكتبات الأديرة الكاثوليكية في مصر، ومن أهم نتائج الدراسة أن ثلثي مكتبات الدراسة لديها خطة محددة للتحول إلى البيئة الرقمية، ولا تمتلك أي من مكتبات الدراسة برمجيات حماية حقوق الملكية الفكرية كما توصلت الدراسة إلى انعدام المخصصات المالية اللازمة لتدريب العاملين على تقنيات الرقمنة ولتجديد البنية التحتية والصيانة الدورية، وذلك بنصف مكتبات الدراسة، وضعف هذه المخصصات بالنصف الآخر من مكتبات الدراسة وكذلك وجود معوقات تقنية تحول دون تطبيق مشاريع الرقمنة بالمكتبات محل الدراسة، أهمها ضعف البنية التحتية اللازمة، وقلة كفاية الأجهزة والمعدات الأساسية اللازمة لعملية الرقمنة بمكتبات الدراسة، وأهم المعوقات البشرية النقص الشديد في مهارات الرقمنة، والأرشفة الإلكترونية لدى العاملين بمكتبات الدراسة.
The study aims to identify the various requirements that must be met in order to carry out the digitalization process within the libraries and to identify the most important organizational, legal, financial, technical and human obstacles that prevent the transformation to the digital environment in the libraries of the Catholic monasteries in Egypt. And then to make recommendations that will overcome the obstacles of digitization in the libraries of the Catholic monasteries in Egypt, and establish the initial rules for the establishment of digitization projects . The researcher used the applied field research method. The study tools were in a questionnaire that was designed according to the objectives and questions of the study. The sample was limited to six monasteries libraries representing the most important libraries of Catholic monasteries in Egypt One of the most important results of the study is that two thirds of the libraries have a specific plan for transition to the digital environment. None of the study libraries have intellectual property rights protection software. The study also found the lack of financial allocations necessary to train employees on digitization techniques and to renovate the infrastructure and regular maintenance, in half of the study libraries , And the weakness of these allocations in the other half of the study libraries As well as the existence of technical obstacles to the implementation of digitization projects in the libraries under study, the most important is weakness of the necessary infrastructure, And the lack of adequate basic equipment and equipment necessary for the digitization process in the study libraries. The most important human obstacles are the severe lack of digitization skills and the electronic archiving of the staff of the study libraries
