المستخلص: يتطلب عصر التطورات الرقمية مواكبة الخيارات التكنولوجية، مما ساهم في تقبل فكرة إنترنت الأشياء والتي تقدم مفهوم متطور لشبكة الإنترنت بحيث تمتلك كل الأشياء في حياتنا قابلية الاتصال بالإنترنت أو ببعضها البعض لإرسال واستقبال البيانات لأداء وظائف محددة من خلال الشبكة. لم يعد الإنترنت أمراً اختيارياً مع التقدم التقني الحاصل في عالمنا، فقد أصبح حاجة ملحة في حياتنا اليومية، ومع إيجاد إنترنت الأشياء ستزيد الحاجة لتواجد الإنترنت بشكل دائم.
تقدم إنترنت الأشياء حالة تترابط فيها أعداد كبيرة من الكائنات باستخدام الإنترنت حيث تعمل على جمع البيانات وإرسالها واستقبالها. وأصبحت إنترنت الأشياء ممكنة بفضل مكونات ومستشعرات منخفضة الجهد وقليلة التكلفة يمكن إضافتها إلى الأجهزة والأماكن المتعددة والكتب التعليمية الإلكترونية حيث تعتمد على ارسال البيانات إلى تطبيق إداري بالربط بين هذه الكائنات والأنظمة.
وهناك ترادف بين المصطلحين إنترنت الأشياء وإنترنت القيمة وكلاها لديه القدرة على التأثير على كيف نعيش، وأيضاً على كيف نعمل. حيث سيتم اتاحة فرص لا نهاية لها في الاتصالات التي يمكن أن تحدث، الكثير منها لا يمكننا تخيله أو فهم إلى مدى يؤثر على حياتنا اليومية وسلوكياتنا.
يعرض البحث الحالي تطور استخدام إنترنت الأشياء في الحياة اليومية، وكيفية توظيفها في العملية التعليمية بجامعة الطائف وتحديد أسس تحقيق كفاءة التطبيق ومدى الاستفادة من التفعيل، حيث وجدت الباحثة تنوع توظيف إنترنت الأشياء منها إمكانية تصميم الأشياء بدءاً من إضافة مستشعرات حتى تصميم أجهزة ذكية، التحكم في الأشياء وتوزيع حلول إنترنت الأشياء التي تتحكم في الأشياء وتراقبها وتديرها، مما يتيح التقاط البيانات في الوقت الفعلي وتحليلها لتحديد رؤى للأعمال المتميزة مما يخلق فرصاً جديدة لزيادة العائدات.

The era of digital developments requires keeping pace with technological choices, which has contributed to the acceptance of the idea of the Internet of Things, which offers a sophisticated concept of the Internet so that all things in our lives have the ability to connect to the Internet or each other to send and receive data to perform specific functions through the network. With technological advances in our world, the Internet is no longer optional, in fact, it has become an urgent need in our daily lives, and with the creation of the Internet of Things, the need for the presence of a permanent Internet will increase.
Internet of things provides a situation where large numbers of objects are interconnected using the Internet where they collect, send and receive data. Internet of things has become possible because of the low-cost, low-voltage components and sensors that can be added to multiple devices, places and e-learning books. It relies on sending data to an administrative application by linking these objects and systems.
There is a synonymy between the terms Internet of Things and the Internet of Value, both of which have the potential to influence how we live, as well as how we work. There will be endless opportunities in connections that can happen, many of which we cannot imagine or understand how much it affects our daily lives and behaviours.
The current research shows the evolution of the use of Internet of Things in everyday life, and how to utilize it in the educational process at Taif University and determine the bases of achieving the efficiency of the application and the extent of the benefit of activation, where the researcher found the diversity of using Internet of Things including the possibility of designing things starting from adding sensors to designing smart devices, controlling objects and distributing solutions of the Internet of Things that control, monitor, and manage things, allowing real-time data capture and analysis to define business insights creating new opportunities for increased revenue.
