ظل التاريخ حافل بألوان الصراع والعداء للإسلام والمسلمين من القوى الأجنبية التي سعت للسيطرة عليهم واستنزاف خيراتهم، مستخدمة في ذلك مختلف الأساليب والأشكال، وعلى رأسها الغزو الفكري الذي خرج من كونه يراد له مجرد تغيير المظهر الخارجي للمسلمين، إلى استهداف الإسلام ذاته كونه العقبة الرئيسية أمامه، ومن خلال افساد الأخلاق وإفساد الشعوب الإسلامية، وتحريف الإسلام وتشويهه، ولعل من أبرز هذه الوسائل التبشير التنصير الذي لم يكن الهدف الحقيقي منها نشر النصرانية إنما التشكيك في الإسلام وابعاد المسلمين عن دينهم، وكذلك الاستشراق الذي سعى إلى وصم الإسلام بالتخلف والرجعية وعدم التطور والرجعية، وعزله عن الحياة العامة، وكذلك محاولة أسقاط الخلافة الإسلامية العثمانية التي كانت تمثل وحدة المسلمين كافة، لذلك فإن ضرب هذه الوحدة وإسقاطها يحي العصبيات والنزعات العنصرية، وأخيراً وخوفاً من الصحوة الإسلامية لجأ الغرب إلى استخدام التغريب، ودفع المسلمين إلى الاقتداء بالغرب في تقاليده وعاداته وتصوراته، وتفريغ القلوب والعقول من القيم والمبادئ الإسلامية، وتركها ضعيفة فارغة، وخلق شعور بالنقص في نفوس المسلمين. ويمكننا القول إن الغرب قد نجح من خلال الغزو الفكري والحضاري في أحداث أزمة جذرية عنيفة، وثورة نفسية فكرية في المجتمعات الإسلامية، فكان الشك والجحود لأسس حضارتنا ومعتقداتنا ولقيمنا ومفاهيمنا وتاريخنا، وبذلك تحقق للغرب غاياته وأهدافه.

We can say that the West succeeded through Civilized and intellectual invasion to create radical and violent crisis, and to create psychological revolution in the intellectual societies of Islam, so that resulted in doubt and the absurdity of the foundations of our civilization and our beliefs and values and our concepts and history, which led to achieve the West goals and objectives.
