المستخلص: تناول هذا البحث (جهود علماء المسلمين في حفظ السنة النبوية "محاربة الوضع والوضاعين أنموذجاً") قضية مهمة تعتني بجهود علماء المسلمين في حفظ السنة المطهرة من خلال الذب والدفاع عنها من أن يعلق بها ما ليس منها، وهو ما يعرف بالوضع والتقول على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، حيث أبان البحث تعريف الوضع ومصدره وحكم الحديث الموضوع، وعرج على أسباب الوضع ثم أوضح جهود علماء المسلمين في حفظ السنة النبوية عن طريق ما قام به العلماء من جهود مضنية في محاربة الوضاعين من خلال إبانة اعتناء العلماء بالسند والمتن معاً، وقد اتبعت في ذلك المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي، حيث عمدت إلى كلام العلماء استقراء وجمعاً، ثم خلصت إلى تكوين عصارة علمية لكثير من كتب الحديث وعلومه وما له علاقة بذلك من البحوث والدراسات، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى نتائج وتوصيات.

This research (the efforts of Muslim scholars in preserving the prophetic Sunnah “Fighting the fabrication and the fabricators as a model”) discusses an important issue, i.e., the efforts of Muslim scholars in preserving the pure Sunnah by protecting and defending it from something false being attributed to it. This is what is known as making up and fabricating lies against the messenger of Allaah (PBUH). The research explained the definition of the “fabrication” and its source and the ruling of the fabricated (Maudoo) hadith. It also went on to explain the causes of the fabrication. It then explained the efforts of the Muslim scholars in preserving the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) through their strenuous efforts in fighting the fabricators by the care they took in both the “chain of narration” and the “content of the hadith.” I followed the analytical and inductive approach. I studied and collected the statements of the scholars and then concluded to form a scientific essence of many books of hadeeth and their sciences and the related research and studies. The study led to several conclusions and recommendations.
