المستخلص: يعد الوصف من أهم البنى الخطابية في قصة "في العلية" لاهرون ميجد، ملأت القصة بالوحدات الوصفية السردية ومسانيدها، تنوعت بنية الوصف من وصف الرؤية، ووصف القول، ووصف الأفعال صبت جميعا من أجل هدف وصف المكان. كان للوصف في القصة وظائف متعددة، منها الوظيفة التاريخية التي كثيرا ما ميزت قصص ميجد الأولى وما تسمى بالأوتوغرافيا، قدمت القصص وصفاً دقيقا لبيئة المجتمع اليهودي الهارب من شرق أوربا إلى فلسطين في بداية القرن العشرين أبان الاستعمال العثماني، برزت الوظيفة الجمالية في أوصاف وظفت الأنسنة في رسم صور سردية ذات جمل شعرية قصيرة وذي خيال خصب، أضافت السخرية والفكاهة بعدا فكريا آخر لتلك الصور السردية. احتوت القصة وظيفة مهمة أخرى هي الوظيفة الدلالية بامتزاجها مع مضمون القصة، فأنتج بعداً رمزيا للمضمون، إذ كان وصف ميجد لفكرة مكيدة صعود البطل إلى علية الكنيست، ذلك المكان المقدس والأمن في اليهودية، وألحقها بوصف نزول الولد من العلية وملاحقته وضربه من قبل الأولاد بتعابير وصفية قريبة من فكرة هجرة اليهود في نهاية القرن التاسع عشر إلى فلسطين وما تلاها من أحداث. والبحث هنا تناول إجرائي لقصة نمطية من قصص اهرون ميجد كشف فيها عن أهمية الوصف في النص الأدبي ووظيفته الكبير في التعبير عن خطاب النص وهو مقاربة نصية بين القصة وفكرة هجرة اليهود على فلسطين.

Description is considered one of the most important rhetorical structures in the story of "In the Attic" by Aharon Megged, as it is characterized by descriptive units and their meanings. The descriptive structure varied from description of vision, saying and actions that are all used for the description of the setting .Description in the story had different functions including historical function which characterized the first stories of Megged that are called Autography .The stories described in details the environment of the Jewish society that escaped from East Europe to Palestine at the beginning of the twentieth century during Othman colonization. Another function is the aesthetic one where it appeared in the description that used personification in narration with short poetic sentences and pure imagination. In addition, irony and humor added another intellectual dimension for these narrative images. The story included another important function which is the semantic function that is mixed with the content of the story; therefore, a symbolic dimension of the content appeared where the description of Megged of the idea of plotting the hero's ascension to the Knesset that is a holy and secure place in Judaism. The description of the descent of the child from the attic and his persecution and beating by the boys in descriptive terms close to the idea of Jewish migration at end of the 19th century to Palestine and the events, which followed it. The research paper dealt with a typical story of Ahron Megged's stories in which he revealed the importance of description in the literary text and its great role in expressing the discourse. Furthermore, it is a textual approach between the story and the idea of Jewish emigration to Palestine.
