المستخلص: Average as a mathmatical concept is not always useful in all individual cases of differences among individuals, communities, cultures, and historical contexts as well. As a consequence a problem arises concerning the ability of unifying the criterion of moderation in the light of the relativity domineering everything. Thus, the problem arising from this situation is : In the light of our differences on more than one respect how can we think, correct, and reconcile views in order to make an agreement on the criterion of moderation ? It seems that thinking of employing philosophy as a means of education for moderation, forgiveness, and coexistence, whether on local or international levels, is something necessary. Thus, we conjure the experiences of philosophers who tried to move philosophy from contemplation to action, i.e., from science to ethics. The methodology adopted in this study is philosophical analysis that dismantles the subject into its simple ingredients in order to acquire accurate knowledge on elementary cases. We also used the structural approach and the comparative approach to assist in exploring various differences and contradictions among various criteria of moderation. Findings of the study are: - Moderation does not arise naturally as much as it arise from certain criteria. - There is a dialectical relationship between criteria and moderation. - The criteria used to identify moderation and common ground life grow ceaselessly. - Ethical criteria of moderation are always interrelated with the theoretical criteria of pure sciences. - Recommendations: - It is necessary to link the religious thought to political institutions that the state permits in order to cope with its natural and logical growth. - It is necessary to reconsider the relationship between current Arabic philosophy and education as a social and pedagogic response. It is meaningless to be busy with theoretical philosophical issues and forge tour contexts and concerns. We are in dire need to contextualize philosophy with education as far as there is a hope to reclaim the position of philosophical thinking and this won’t be achieved unless it serves moderate education of children.

الوسط كمفهوم رياضي لا يقيد كل الحالات الجزئية المرتبطة باختلاف الأفراد والمجتمعات والثقافات والسياقات التاريخية أيضا. مما يطرح لنا مشكلة القدرة على توحيد معيار الاعتدال في ظل النسبية الطاغية على كل شيء. لذا فالمشكلة التي تولدها مثل هذه الوضيعة هي: كيف لنا، ونحن المختلفون على أكثر من صعيد، أن نفكر ونسدد ونقرب وجهات النظر من أجل الاتفاق حول معيار الاعتدال؟ يبدو لنا أن التفكير في توظيف الفلسفة كوسيلة للتربية على الاعتدال والتسامح والعيش المشترك، سواء في مستوى محلي أو في مستوى عالمي أمر ضروري. لذا استحضرنا تجارب فلاسفة أرادوا نقل الفلسفة من النظر إلى العمل، أي من العلم إلى الأخلاق. أما المنهجية التي اعتمدناها في هذه الدراسة فهي التحليل الفلسفي الذي يفكك الموضوع المركب إلى عناصره البسيطة من أجل معرفة كل حالة جزئية معرفة دقيقة. وأيضا اعتمدنا المنهج التركيبي، واعتمدنا أيضا المنهج المقارن، الذي يساعدنا على استجلاء مختلف الاختلافات والتقاطعات بين المعايير المختلفة للاعتدال. نتائج البحث: - أن الاعتدال ليس معطى طبيعي بقدر ما ينشأ عن وجود معايير معينة. - أن هناك علاقة جدلية بين المعايير والاعتدال. - المعايير التي بها يتم تحديد الاعتدال والحياة المشتركة تنمو بلا توقف. - المعايير الأخلاقية في الاعتدال تتعالق دوما مع المعايير النظرية في العلوم المجردة. التوصيات: - ضرورة ربط الفكر الديني بالمؤسسات السياسية التي تتيحها الدولة من أجل مرافقة النمو الطبيعي والعقلاني له. - إلى جانب ضرورة إعادة الاعتبار للعلاقة بين الفلسفة العربية الحالية والتربية كفعل اجتماعي أو بيداغوجي. فلا معنى في أن نغوص في مسائل فلسفية نظرية بعيدة عن سياقاتنا وبعيدة عن هموما، في حين أننا في أمس الحاجة إلى تسييق الفلسفة مع التربية. إن كان هناك أمل في إعادة المكانة للتفكير الفلسفي، فلن يكون ذلك إلا إذا قدم لنا خدمات في التربية الاعتدالية للأطفال.
