يتناول هذا البحث جماليات التشكيل التصويري في مقدمة قصيدة المديح النبوي عند الشاعر صفي الدين الحلي، ويهدف من خلال هذا التناول إلى: الكشف عن القيم الجمالية للتشكيل التصويري في مقدمة قصيدة المديح النبوي، وإبراز قدرة الشاعر على توظيف الصور المبنية على الكناية والتشبيه والمجاز توظيفا فنيا مكثفا؛ للكشف عن العمق الوجداني، والبعد الفكري للشاعر، في إطار شعري واحد يتمثل في الصورة المنتمية إلى عالمه النفسي. ويسعى كذلك إلى الوقوف على مظاهر براعة الاستهلال في مقدمة قصيدة المديح النبوي، وحسن التخلص من مقدمة القصيدة إلى الغرض الرئيسي. وآثرنا في هذا البحث دراسة التشكيل التصويري وفق المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الذي يهتم بوصف الصورة البيانية؛ لأنها ثمرة التخيل تتراءى في نسق من التجليات بين المدرك الحسي والخيال الشعري؛ لتشف عن صور حسية بصرية وحركية وسمعية، فيصفها وصفا دقيقا، ويربط بينها وبين المعطيات الوجدانية للشاعر.
