المستخلص: تهدف الدراسة إلى بيان مقاصد البلاغة العربية، والوقوف على ما تحقق منها وما لم يتحقق، وأسباب عدم تحققه والمعوقات التي تعوق قيام هذا العلم بدوره المنشود، مقارنة بغيره من العلوم المعنية بتحليل الخطاب، وقد مرت البلاغة العربية في مقاصدها بمراحل مختلفة بداية بمادة الدراسة ومروراً بالتذوق وصناعة الأديب وانتهاء بالبحث في وجوه الإعجاز القرآني، ومن نتائج الدراسة أن النقاد والبلاغيين لم يعنوا بالوقوف مع أي نص كيفما جاء واتفق، وإنما اتجهت عنايتهم إلى النصوص الفصيحة التي تصور قيم مجتمعهم وأخلاقهم وفكرهم وثقافتهم وعاداتهم وحضارتهم وميولهم واتجاهاتهم، وأن عناية البلاغيين بالنصوص الفصيحة تدحض كل فرية تزعم أن البلاغة ليست عربية، وإلا فكيف يحرصون على أن تكون النصوص فصيحة –سعيا لوحدة اللغة- وفي الوقت نفسه يفرطون في ثقافتهم عن طريق نقل بلاغة غير بلاغتهم؟! كما عنيت البلاغة العربية بالخطاب انتاجا وتحليلا فاتجهت عنايتها بإعداد الأديب القادر على تذوق النصوص ومعايشتها وتمييز جيدها من رديئها، وجعلت البلاغة هذا المطلب مقصدا من مقاصدها العامة التي تتجاوز فيه الغرض الديني؛ بغية الوقوف مع الأسرار البلاغية في فنون القول ومراحل الإبداع، كما يمثل الحديث عن وجوده الإعجاز القرآني الكريم مقصداً دينياً للبلاغة العربية، وقد تنوعت مؤلفات العلماء في ذلك تبعاً لاختلاف توجه أصحابها ما بين مفسرين ومتكلمين وبلاغيين، وكان هدف أصحابها هو الزود عن حمى القرآن الكريم ضد من يشككون في إعجازه.

The study aims at showing the purposes of the Arabic rhetoric and stepping on what was achieved and what was not and the reasons for not achieving them and the obstacles that hinder this science from doing its aspired role compared with other sciences that are interested in discourse analysis. The Arabic rhetoric, in its purposes, passed through different stages starting from the content, taste, the author's manufacture ending the research with the sides of the Quranic miracles. From the results of the study is that critics and scholars of rhetoric didn't give interest to the text as it is but they cared for fluent texts that depict the concepts, values and morals of their society, their culture, customs, civilization and their attitudes. The attention of the scholars of rhetoric to fluent texts defies every claim that rhetoric is not Arabic in origin or why they are careful that the texts must be fluent – seeking language unity – at the same time, they transmit their culture via rhetoric other than theirs?! The Arabic rhetoric was interested in discourse in production and analysis, thus it directed its attention to preparing an author capable of tasting texts, co-living with them and discriminating the good and the bad from them. Rhetoric made such purpose one of its general purposes by which it exceeds the religious purpose aiming at knowing the rhetoric artistic secrets of telling and innovation stages, speaking about the Quranic miraculous sides as a religious purpose of the Arabic rhetoric. Scientists' works varied in such aspect according to the difference of their attitudes including interpreters, speakers, scholars of rhetoric, and their aim was to defend the Holy Quran against those who doubt its miracles.
