The study attributed the idea of the role of strategic thinking in improving the performance of employees and the development of security leaders and strengthen their capacity to address environmental challenges and future potential risks. Police apparatus plays an important and central role of society as it is one of the major service sectors in the light of the offer to its customer’s differentiated services that will lead to the achievement of many pros to the police. To achieve the objectives of the study researcher descriptive analytical method in the study, where the study was limited in human borders dish (study population) of workers and (166) officer. And it was one of the most important results of the study that the police institutions have become so desperately need to rely on strategic thinking more in the light of changes and developments accelerated in the underworld, and the strategic thinking of the security apparatus plays a big role in foreseeing the future, and imagine alternatives and setting goals and drawing security strategies. The study recommended Bdharroh leaders went to the strategic thinking, leadership interest in the various levels of exceptional quality appropriate to the climate and to create them, as infrastructure, intellectual and strategic weapon for the future of Abu Dhabi Police.
هدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرف على مردود الفكر الاستراتيجي على ريادة العمل الأمني وتطوير القيادات الأمنية وتعزيز قدراتها لمواجهة التحديات البيئية والمستقبلية والمخاطر المحتملة. فجهاز الشرطة يلعب دوراً مهماً ومحورياً بالمجتمع كما أنه يعد من القطاعات الخدمية الرئيسة في ضوء ما يقدمه لعملائه من خدمات متباينة سيؤدي إلى تحقيق العديد من الإيجابيات لجهاز الشرطة. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في الدراسة، حيث اقتصرت الدراسة في حدودها البشرية (مجتمع الدراسة) على العاملين بمقر القيادة العامة لشرطة أبو ظبي والبالغ عددهم (166) ضابطا. وكانت من أهم نتائج الدراسة إن المؤسسات الشرطية أصبحت في أمس الحاجة إلى الاعتماد على الفكر الاستراتيجي بشكل أكبر في ظل المتغيرات والمستجدات المتسارعة في عالم الجريمة، كما أن التفكير الاستراتيجي للجهاز الأمني يلعب دور كبير في استشراف المستقبل، وتخيل البدائل وتحديد الأهداف ورسم الاستراتيجيات الأمنية. وقد أوصى البحث بضرورة توجه القادة إلى التفكير الاستراتيجي، والاهتمام بالقيادات في المستويات المختلفة ذوي القدرات المتميزة وتهيئة المناخ الملائم لهم، بوصفهم بنى تحتية فكرية وسلاح استراتيجي مستقبلي للعمل الأمني.
