هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى الذكاءات المتعددة وحل المشكلات لدى الطلبة المتميزين في الأردن، ومدى اختلاف مستوى الذكاءات وحل المشكلات باختلاف جنس الطالب. إضافة إلى الكشف عن القدرة التنبؤية للذكاءات المتعددة بحل المشكلات لدى عينة الدراسة التي تكونت من (142) طالبا وطالبة، (77 طالبا، و 65 طالبة) من طلبة الصف السابع الأساسي في مدارس الملك عبد الله الثاني للتميز في محافظات إربد والزرقاء والبلقاء. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، استخدم مقياسان للذكاءات المتعددة، ولحل المشكلات. أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى امتلاك الطلبة المتميزين مستوى مرتفع من الذكاءات المتعددة، حيث كانت تفضيلات أفراد العينة للذكاءات المتعددة مرتبة تنازليا كالآتي: الذكاء الشخصي، والبينشخصي، والرياضي، والمكاني، والطبيعي، والحركي، واللغوي، والموسيقي على التوالي. كما كشفت النتائج عن امتلاك عينة الدراسة قدرة مرتفعة في حل المشكلات. وكان أفضل أداء للعينة في حل المشكلات على بعد الثقة بالذات، ثم بعد الإقدام والإحجام، تلاهما بعد السيطرة الذاتية. في حين دلت نتائج اختبار (ت) على عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الجنسين في الذكاءات المتعددة، كما كشفت عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة بين الجنسين في حل المشكلات ككل، وعلى أبعاد السيطرة الذاتية، والإقدام والإحجام ولصالح الإناث. كما أظهرت نتائج تحليل الانحدار المتدرج قدرة تنبؤية للذكاءات المتعددة بحل المشكلات وأبعاده، حيث كان هناك أثر لمتغير الذكاء الموسيقي في بعد الثقة بالذات من مقياس حل المشكلات، ووجود أثر لمتغير الذكاء الشخصي في بعد الإقدام والإحجام، وكذلك أثر لمتغيرات الذكاء الرياضي، والموسيقي، والحركي، والشخصي في بعد السيطرة الذاتية. وبالمقابل كان للذكاءات (الموسيقي، والشخصي، والحركي) قدرة تنبئية في حل المشكلات ككل
This study aimed at identifying the level of multiple intelligences and their relationship with problem solving among distinguished students in Jordan, and the variation level of multiple intelligences and problem solving in accordance with student sex. Furthermore, the study aimed at investigating the predictability of multiple intelligences in problem solving among study sample. The sample of the study consisted of 142 7th graders students 77 males, 65 females randomly selected from king Abdullah 11 distinguished schools in governorate of Alzarqa, Irbid, and Albalqaa. To achieve the aims of the study, a multiple intelligences and problem solving scales were constructed. The results of the study indicated that the distinguished students had high level of the multiple intelligences, where the students' preferences of multiple intelligences descendgly ordered as a follow: personal, interpersonal, mathematical, spatial, natural, kinetic, linguistic and musical intelligences. The results also indicated that the study sample had high problem solving ability, and the best performance of the sample in the problem solving on the dimensions of self- confidence, boldness, desistance and self- control respectively. The results from (t) test revealed that there were no statistical significant differences between male and female in multiple intelligences, and there were statistical significant differences between them in overall problem solving, the dimension of self- control, boldness and desistance in the favor of females. The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis also indicated that multiple intelligences predictability in problem solving and its dimensions, where there was an effect of musical intelligences variable on the dimensions of self- confidence in problem solving scale, and an effect of personal intelligence on the dimension of boldness and desistance, and an effect of mathematical, musical, kinetic, and personal intelligences on the self- control dimension. On the other hand, there was predictability of the musical, personal and kinetic intelligences in overall problem solving
