Stress-Strength Reliability of "Y<X" for Inverse Wiebull Distribution Using Hybrid Censored Samples

In this article, we introduce the estimation of stress strength reliability R=P(Y<X), when X and Y are two independent inverse Weibull (IW) lifetime models having the same shape parameters but different scale parameters under hybrid censored samples. First, the maximum likelihood estimator and its asymptotic istribution are obtained. Based on the asymptotic distribution, the confidence interval of R can also be obtained and finally the Bayesian estimate of R using squared loss function is proposed. |
