المستخلص: Nous développons dans cet article les résultats de notre première étape dans la construction d’une échelle de mesure de la performance hospitalière en Algérie, à partir d’une étude de cas – l’EHU d’Oran- et en mobilisant l’approche de Churchill (1979). Cette étape constitue la phase exploratoire. Elle consiste en une Analyse Factorielle Exploratoire (AFE) estimée par l’Analyse en Composante Principale (ACP).

We develop in this article the results of our first step in the construction of a hospital performance measurement scale in Algeria, based on a case study –the Oran EHU- and by mobilizing the approach of Churchill (1979). This stage is the exploratory phase. It consists of an Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) estimated by the Principal Component Analysis (PCA).
