المستخلص: الموضة كمنتج بكل ما يحمله من عمليات عقلية كوضع التصميم والابتكار وعمليات إجرائية لتنفيذ التصميم في صورة منتج نهائي وهي أي الموضة تعتمد في إخراج هذا المنتج المادي الملموس على الخامة أو مجموعة الخامات التي يتم تحقيق التصميم المنفذ من خلالها. ظل مصممي الموضة ومنتجيها على اختلاف توجهاتهم من عصر لآخر ومن بلد لآخر ومن موسم لآخر يحذون حذوا واحدا ألا وهو إنتاج موضة هدفها هو الارتداء والستر الجميل للجسد البشري والذي يوفر الحماية اللازمة صيفا وشتاء، إلى أن ظهر مجموعة من الطليعة نظروا لخامات الموضة نظرة مغايرة تماما عما اعتاد عليه مصممي الموضة التقليديين، انبثقت هذه النظرة الجديدة للخامة من الرؤية المختلفة لهذه الطليعة لمفهوم الخامة أو لوظيفة الخامة وأحيانا لتعريف الموضة بوجه عام يهدف البحث الحالي إلى استعراض بعض التجارب الرائدة لمجموعة من طليعة المصممين والفنانين الذين قدموا تجارب تمزج بين الموضة والعلم أو الموضة والفن كان محركها الأساسي هو النظر لمفهوم الخامة في عالم الموضة بشكل جديد. من خلال التحري لبعض تجارب هؤلاء الطليعة تبين أن بعضهم قدم للموضة خامات غير نمطية، وبعضهم تجاوز الحدود بين الموضة وتخصصات أخرى كفن النحت أو الأداء وبعضهم دمج بين الموضة والتطور العلمي التكنولوجي كاستخدام الاستشعارات المدمجة أو الطباعة الثلاثية أو تطبيقات الهندسة الوراثية. اتبعت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتمثلت أهم نتائج الدراسة في تصنيف الأنماط التي أعاد بها مصممي الطليعة تعريف مفهوم الخامة في الموضة. توصي الدراسة الحالية بمتابعة البحث وأعداد فرق العمل في تخصصات مختلفة لتصميم تطبيقات مشابهة من شأنها تناول خامات الموضة بأسلوب غير نمطي مدفوعا برؤية مصمم عربي مطلع ومتمكن وجريء.

Fashion as a product with all its mental processes such as designing, innovation, and procedural processes to implement the design in the form of a final product depends, in the production of this tangible physical product, on the material or the group of materials through which the executed design is obtained. Fashion designers and producers, regardless of their orientations, from one era to another, from one country to another, and from one season to another, kept following one example, which is to produce fashion whose goal is to wear and beautifully cover the human body, which provides the necessary protection in summer and winter, until a group of the avant-garde looked at the raw materials of fashion with a completely different view from what traditional fashion designers were use do. This new view of the material emerged from the different vision of this avant-garde of the concept of material or the function of material and sometimes to define fashion in general. The current research aims to review some of the pioneering experiences of a group of leading designers and artists who presented experiments that blend fashion and science or fashion and art, whose main motive was to look at the concept of material in the world of fashion in a new way. By investigating some of the experiences of these avant-gardes, it was found that some of them presented atypical materials to fashion. Some of them crossed the boundaries between fashion and other disciplines, such as the art of sculpture or performance. Some of them combined fashion and scientific-technological development, such as built-in sensors, 3D printing, or applications of genetic engineering. The study's main finding was the classification of styles in which the avant-garde designers redefined the concept of material in fashion. The current study recommends continuing research and preparing work teams in different disciplines to design similar applications that will address fashion materials in an atypical manner, driven by the vision of an informed, capable and bold Arab designer.
