يثير موضوع الوحي الإلهي- الذي يقترن بالبعد الغيبي – عند العلماء من المفسرين والمفكرين وأصحاب العلوم الذوقية من الفلاسفة والمتصوفة وغيرهم تساؤلات كثيرة، بين مشكك في أصل حدوث هذه الظاهرة، وبين موقن بوقوعها علي الإجمال من دون التفصيلات، وبين من خاض في غمارها محاولا استجلاء لطائفه ومكنوناته مستعينا بالكتاب الكريم والسنة المطهرة. وجدوي البحث في هذا الموضوع وأهميته تظهر في كون الوحي الإلهي يعد الركيزة الأساسية في إثبات نبوة الأنبياء عليهم السلام، وأساسا للتشريع والعقيدة والأخلاق وغيرها من نواحي الحياة، لاسيما وأن الوحي – بجميع أقسامه- إنما يرتبط ارتباطا مباشرة بجميع الكائنات بشكل عام وبالوجود الإنساني بشكل خاص كونه يمثل جانب الهداية – التكونية والتشريعية – وصولا إلي محال القرب من الله تبارك وتعالي ونيل مرضاته، وتحقيق العبودية التامة. وبحثنا هذا يحاول تسليط الضوء على هذه الظاهرة الإلهية الفريدة من نوعها في جميع تفصيلاتها، من حيث تعريف الوحي وبيان أقسامه، معرفا بحامل الوحي وهو جبرئيل عليه السلام، وذكر بعض صفاته وخصائصه، وكذلك بيان ضروب الوحي وارتباطها بالأنبياء عليهم السلام، وسبب تنوع تلك الضروب من نبي إلي أخر.
