تعد التغيرات السكانية ذات تأثير واضح في مدينة الحلة نتيجة الزيادة السكانية وما يتبعها من نمو سكاني، وان هذا النمو السكاني أثر بدوره على إحداث التغيرات السكانية والتي أثرت بدورها على زيادة حجم المدينة لعدم قدرة الأحياء القديمة على استيعاب العدد السكاني الحالي، والذي يظهر دوره على تطوير المدينة، وان الزيادة التي تكونت كانت نتيجة للزيادة الطبيعية بعد التقدم العلمي والتكنولوجي في المجال الطبي، والزيادة غير الطبيعية نتيجة عامل الهجرة التي كانت من المحافظات تارة ومن إقليم المدينة تارة أخرى ومن الملاحظ أن لموقع مدينة الحلة اثر مباشر في هذه الزيادة المستمرة فضلا عن العوامل الطبيعية الأخرى والتي اعتبرت نقطة جذب للسكان وللأنشطة البشرية المختلفة، فمؤشرات التغيرات السكانية التي شهدها سكان المدينة تدلل على أنها في نمو مستمر سكانيا وتوسعا مساحيا، ففي سنة (2000) بلغ سكان المدينة (268000) نسمة في حين ازداد عام (2005) إلى (330758) وفي سنة 2010 بلغ (360450) نسمة، وحسب التقديرات السكانية لسنة 2013 بلغ عددهم (374640) نسمة، وسنة 2016 بلغ عدد سكانها (452875) إن هذه الزيادة السكانية ووفق التسلسل الزمني انعكست على التغيرات في السكان وفي حجم المدينة الذي بدوره انعكس على توسعها العمراني (السكني) ، ونتيجة لهذه التغيرات تطلب زيادة في المساحات والتي تتناسب وهذه الزيادة ولهذا جاء البحث ليوضح اثر التغيرات السكانية في مدينة الحلة وتسليط الضوء على الزيادة السكانية في الأحياء السكنية وترتيبها وفق هذه التغيرات
Population changes consider as clear effect in the Hilla city because of the increasing of population and what follows from population growth, and this population growth effect is event population changes which effect on city increasing size because of the old districts inability to accommodating the number of population now, and which his role appears on the development of the city, and this increasing which formed as result of natural increase after scientific and technological progress in the medical field, and the abnormal increase due to the migration factor which were from the provinces sometimes and from the province of the city at other times and it is noted that the city of Hilla has a direct impact on this continuous increase as well as other natural factors, which was considered a magnet for the population and for various human activities the indicators of population changes witnessed by the city's population show that they are in a continuous population growth "And expansion "surveyor", In (2000), the city had a population of (268,000), While the year (2005) increased to (330758) in 2010, it reached (360450) people, and according to population estimates for the year 2013 reached (374640) people, the year 2016 had a population of (452875), this increase in population and in chronological order was reflected in changes in the population and in the size of the city, which in turn reflected on its urban expansion (residential), as a result of these changes, an increase in space is required and commensurate with this increase and for this reason this research came to explain the impact of the population changes in the city of Hilla, and to highlight the population increase in residential neighborhoods and arrange them according to these changes
