المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى تحديد معايير توظيف عناصر تصميم الملابس الوظيفية للمرأة الحامل، وتقديم مجموعة من التصميمات المقترحة لملابس الحمل في ضوء معايير توظيف عناصر التصميم، والتعرف على المشكلات التي تواجه الحوامل في ملابس الحمل المتوفرة بالأسواق، وتحديد احتياجاتهن من الملابس الوظيفية في ضوء التغيرات الجسمية والنفسية التي تحدث خلال فترة الحمل، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، والدراسة التطبيقية. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث تم تصميم مجموعة من الأدوات تمثلت في: إستبانة لاستطلاع رأي المرأة الحامل بشأن مشاكل ملابس الحمل المتوفرة في الأسواق، إستبانة تحديد التفضيلات (المتطلبات) الملبسية في ملابس المرأة الحامل، قائمة معايير توظيف عناصر التصميم في تحقيق المتطلبات الوظيفية لملابس المرأة الحامل، وتم التوصل إلى مجموعة من النتائج تمثلت في: تحديد المشكلات التي تواجه المرأة الحامل (السيدات الحوامل العاملات ببعض المؤسسات بمنطقة نجران من جنسيات مختلفة (مصر، السعودية، الأردن، السودان)) في ملابس الحمل المتوفرة بالأسواق، حيث تم استطلاع رأي (54 سيدة)، وتحديد التفصيلات (المتطلبات) الملبسية في ملابس المرأة الحامل- عدد من تم استطلاع رأيهن (43) - من حيث عناصر التصميم (الخط، الشكل، اللون، الخامة) والمتطلبات الوظيفية من حيث (الراحة، الحماية والأمان، الأناقة والجاذبية)، كما تم التوصل إلى معايير توظيف عناصر التصميم في تحقيق المتطلبات الوظيفية لملابس المرأة الحامل (ثلاث معايير رئيسية اشتملت على (37) مؤشر)، حيث تم عرضها على مجموعة من المحكمين بلغ إجمالي عددهم (14) عبارة عن (متخصصين في مجال الملابس والنسيج وعددهم (7) و(5) سيدات حوامل متخصصات في الملابس والنسيج، و(2) طبيبتان تخصص نساء وولادة)، ثم اقتراح (14) تصميم لموديلات مختلفة لملابس المرأة الحامل، حيث تضمن كل تصميم (وصف الموديل، عناصر تصميم الأزياء التي تم توظيفها في تصميم الموديل والمشكلات المتوقع علاجها من خلال توظيف عناصر التصميم)

The research aims to determine the criteria for employing functional clothing design elements for pregnant women, present a set of proposed designs for pregnancy clothes in light of the criteria for employing design elements, identify the problems faced by pregnant women in pregnancy clothing available in the market, and identify their functional clothing needs in view of the physical and psychological changes that occur during pregnancy. The study used the descriptive-analytical approach and applied study. To achieve the objectives of the research, a set of tools was designed: a questionnaire to take opinions of pregnant women on the problems of pregnancy clothing available in the market, a questionnaire to identify the preferences (requirements) in pregnant women's clothing, and a list of criteria for employing design elements in achieving functional requirements for pregnant women's clothes. The study reached a set of results as follows. It identified problems faced by pregnant women (pregnant women working in some institutions in the Najran region of different nationalities (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Sudan)) in pregnancy clothes available in the markets where the opinions were achieved from (54 women). It also identified the clothing preferences (requirements) in pregnancy clothes, those who were surveyed numbered (43) pregnant women in terms of design elements (line, shape, color, material) and functional requirements in terms of (comfort, protection and safety, elegance and attractiveness). The study also identified the criteria for employing design elements in achieving the functional requirements of pregnant women's clothing (three main criteria consisting of (37) indicators), where they were presented to a group of arbitrators who numbered (14) arbitrators including (7) specialists in the field of clothing and textile and five pregnant women specializing in clothing and textile, and two female doctors specialized in obstetrics and gynecology. The study then proposed (14) designs for different models of clothes for pregnant women, where each design included (model description, fashion design elements employed in model designing, and problems expected to be addressed by employing design elements).
