المستخلص: تعد ظاهرة العنف الأسري من المشكلات الاجتماعية التي تعاني منها معظم الدول النامية خصوصا في المجتمعات غير المستقرة، وينتج عن تلك الظاهرة مشكلات عدة منها التفكك الأسري وانتشار الجريمة وانخفاض المستوى التعليمي والثقافي وينعكس ذلك اثره على الحالة الاجتماعية لدى الأطفال خصوصا لدى صغار السن، قد اجتمعت مجموعة من العوامل والأسباب في انتشار تلك الظاهرة داخل المجتمع الحضري لمدينة النجف، وظهرت من خلال البيانات المتوافرة تعرض النساء والأطفال إلى أنواع مختلفة من العنف سببها عدم التوافق الأسري والاستغلال المادي والمعنوي والتفسير الخاطئ للدين الإسلامي، والاستعمال السيء للأنترنت ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، ومتابعة شاشات التلفاز والألعاب الإلكترونية كلها عوامل أضعفت التماسك الأسري وأنتجت مشكلات مجتمعية انعكس اثرها على طبيعة المجتمع وذلك لارتباطها المباشر مع مختلف القطاعات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، وأصبحت تشكل محور الاهتمام عند معظم الباحثين والمفكرين في مجال علم النفس والاجتماع والسياسة، وإنما أخذت أبعادا جغرافية، أصبحت اليوم تتخذ توزيعا جغرافيا متغير عن السابق نتيجة لتغير نمط الحياة واختلاف رغبات وحاجات ومتطلبات الأبناء. لذا فان معرفة الأسباب والمسببات التي أدت إلى زيادة حالات العنف الأسري في مدينة النجف ومناقشة وتحليل التوزيع الجغرافي لكل حالة وذلك من خلال المسح الميداني والمقابلات الشخصية للأسر التي تعاني من تلك الظاهرة، إذ أن الهدف الأساس من دراسة التوزيع المكاني للأسر التي تتعرض للعنف في مدينة النجف الأشرف هو تسليط الضوء على الأماكن التي تمتاز بارتفاع تلك الظاهرة.

The phenomenon of domestic violence is one of the social problems that most developing countries suffer from, especially in unstable societies. This phenomenon has many problems, including family disintegration, crime, murder, begging, low scientific and cultural level, and this affects the social situation in children, A number of factors and factors have been encountered in the spread of this phenomenon within the urban society of Najaf. The available data show that women and children are exposed to different types of violence caused by family incompatibility, material and moral exploitation, the lack of Islamic religion, the bad use of the Internet, the social networking sites, the follow-up of television screens and the electronic games have all weakened family cohesion and produced social problems that affected the nature of urban society in the city because of their direct association with various economic, social and cultural sectors. Specialists in the field of psychology, social and political, but took the dimensions of geography, after the limited space and time is now taking a geographical distribution changed from the former as a result of changing the pattern of life and brother Love desires and the needs and requirements of the children. Therefore, the reasons and causes that led to an increase in cases of domestic violence in the city of Najaf in terms of geographical distribution of each case, through the field survey and personal interviews of families suffering from this phenomenon, as the main objective of studying the spatial distribution of families exposed to violence in the city Najaf is the highlight of the places characterized by the rise of this phenomenon and study the causes, and analysis and submission to the decision-makers in order to take some measures and measures that limit the spread of that phenomenon within the community.
