المستخلص: تتناول هذه الدراسة نماذج لأعمال لغوية لمستشرقي المدرسة الفرنسية والتي تجسدت فيها رؤية المستشرق الفرنسي للغة العربية، حيث تجلت مجالات البحث اللغوي التي تخصص فيها كل مستشرق، بالإضافة إلى المنهج أو المناهج المعتمدة في بحوثهم ولأن هؤلاء المستشرقين لم يتركوا أمراً خاصاً باللغة العربية إلا وبحثوا فيه، لذا عادت جهودهم اللغوية على الدرس اللساني العربي بالفائدة، كما استفاد المستشرقون الفرنسيون من الحضارة العربية. وكل ما هو مختلف في نظرهم من علوم ومعارف عربية الأصل.
غير أن الاستشراق يبقى سلاحا ذا حدين لذا لا يجب أن ننظر له من زاوية واحدة.

Cette étude traite de quelques exemples de travaux linguistiques des orientalistes de l’école de française, dans lesquels nous trouvons leur vision de la langue arabe, et où nous remarquons le choix des domaines de recherches linguistiques dans lesquels se sont spécialisés les orientalistes, et la méthodologie ou les méthodologies sur lesquels ils se sont appuyés dans leurs travaux, car ils ont étudié tous les domaines se rapportant à la langue arabe, ce qui é été bénéfique à la recherche linguistique arabe moderne, sans nier le bénéfice récolté par ces orientaliste de la civilisation arabe. Mais l’orientalisme reste une arme à double tranchant, ce qui nous oblige à être vigilent dans son appréhension.

This study deals with examples of linguistic works by Orientals of the French School, which embody the vision of French Orientalis for the Arabic language. It demonstrated areas of linguistic research in which each Orientalist specialized, in addition to the curriculum or methods adopted in their research. These Orientalists did not leave anything special in the Arabic language without research. Thus, their linguistic efforts towards Arabic linguistics lessons were of benefit, and similarly, they also benefited from the Arab civilization. All that is different in their view about the sciences and knowledge is of Arabic origin.
Orientalism, however, remains a double-edged sword, so we should not look at it only from one angle.
