L’arabes cherche à exposer pendant des période précédentes pour plusieurs tentatives de réaliser l’intégration de marché financiers comme une étapes dans le chemin d’activer l’intégration économique parmi eux.

Aware of the importance of strengthening Arab economic integration in the field of financial markets, Arab regional financial and monetary bodies and organisations have focused their efforts on finding mechanisms that would facilitate cooperation and integration among Arab financial markets. \nDuring previous periods, Arab countries have made several attempts to integrate their financial markets as a step in the process of economic integration among them. |a أدت عملية التحرير المالي وإزالة الحواجز أمام حركة رؤوس الأموال عبر الحدود إلى تكامل تلك الأسواق وجعلتها أشبه ما يكون بسوق مالية عالمية واحدة. وإدراكا من الهيئات والمنظمات المالية والنقدية الإقليمية العربية، لأهمية التعاون والتنسيق العربي في مجال الأسواق المالية وما قد يحققه من تدعيم للتكامل الاقتصادي العربي، فقد ركزت جهودها على إيجاد الآليات التي من شأنها تيسير سبل التعاون والتكامل بين الأسواق المالية العربية. فسعت الدول العربية خلال فترات سابقة للقيام بمحاولات عدة لتحقيق تكامل أسواقها المالية كخطوة في مسار تفعيل التكامل الاقتصادي بينها، إلا أن معظم هذه المحاولات لم يتم استكمالها، وما تحقق منها كان جد متواضع.
