المستخلص: يجمع علماء الإجرام على وجود علاقة وثيقة بين الجريمة والنوع (الجنس)، إذ أكدت مختلف الإحصاءات الجنائية على وجود اختلاف بين جرائم المرأة وجرائم الرجل كما ونوعا ووسيلة. يرى بعض المختصين في علم الإجرام أن السبب في قلة الاهتمام العلمي بجرائم النساء إنما يعزى إلى أن عدد النساء المجرمات الذي يقع تحت طائلة القانون أقل بكثير، إذا ما قورن، بعدد الرجال المجرمين. ان من اهم أهداف هذه الدراسة هو التعرف على التوزيع الجغرافي لجرائم النساء ومتابعة الأسباب والعوامل الاجتماعية لهذه الجرائم ووضع الحلول المناسبة للحد منها وخاصة في حالة العودة للجريمة. اعتمد الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لدراسة الظاهرة والظواهر المؤثرة فيها، وتحليلها وتفسيرها وبيان العلاقات فيما بينها، من خلال تحليل بعض الخصائص الديموغرافية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية لمرتكبات هذه الجرائم. ان من اهم النتائج التي توصل اليها الباحثان هو توضيح التوزيع الكمي لأنواع جرائم النساء في محافظة المثنى فضلا عن التباين والاختلاف في حجم الجرائم ومعدلاتها مكانيا وزمانيا في منطقة الدراسة بشكل خاص عما هو عليه في العراق بشكل عام وتبين أن اتجاه التغير فيها هو نحو الارتفاع التدريجي وعلى مر السنين. وكذلك معرفة أنواع الجرائم والوقوف على اهم الأسباب الحقيقية الدافعة بالمرأة نحو ارتكاب الجريمة.

The crime scientists agreed that the existence of a close relationship between the phenomenon of crime and sex factor, as confirmed various criminal statistics and there is a difference between criminality of women and men qualitively and quantified beside the means of crime. Some specialists in criminology think that the reason for the lack of scientific interest about women crimes attributed to the number of women under penalty of law, much less when compared to the number of men. The most important objectives of this study is identify the geographical distribution of the crimes of women accurately and focus on the causes of social factors to these crimes and to develop appropriate solutions to reduce the crimes of women, especially in the case of repetition of the offenses. Descriptive analytical method was adopted to study the phenomenon and most phenomena affecting them, and the analysis and interpretation of the statement and the relationships between them, and analyze some of the demographic, social and economic characteristics of women who commit crimes. The most important findings of the researcher is to clarify the image of quantitative distribution of the types of women crimes in Muthanna province as well as the contrast and the difference in the size of women crimes and rates spatially and temporally in the study area in particular, than it is in Iraq in general, and found that the direction of change which is about to rise gradual over the years. And knowledge the types of crimes women in the study area and stand on the most important factors and real causes which driving women toward the commission of the crime
