المستخلص: يقوم البحث على تشخيص مفهوم المعنى، ثم تلمس ما تضمنه هذا المفهوم في فكر الإمام الباقر –عليه السلام- من زوايا مختلفة بعضها ذو بعد فكري، وفلسفي، وبعضها ذو توجه ثقافي، ومعرفي؛ فقد عنى الإمام في بيانه للمعنى، والوقوف على جوانبه المتعددة لذا كان لابد من البحث في الجوانب المتعددة في النتاج التفسيري للإمام محمد بن علي الباقر - عليه السلام - فكانت خطة البحث كالتالي: المبحث الأول: - تضمن مستويات المعنى عند الإمام الباقر - عليه السلام - وكانت على مستويين: الأول طبيعة المعنى الإفرادي: وهو بيان معنى المفردة بما يقابل استعمالها عند البلاغيين، والمفسرين، والثاني: المعنى التركيبي الذي تضمن الأساليب المعنوية، والبيانية؛ أما المبحث الثاني: - أثر السياق في توجيه المعنى؛ فكان السياق الجزئي: المتضمن معنى اللغوي وأثر القراءة القرآنية في توجيه المعنى، والسياق الكلي المتضمن: استحضار آيات النص الكريم، واستحضار الحديث النبوي الشريف، وسياق المقام: الذي تضمن أسباب النزول، والقصص القرآني، والظروف الملائمة وأثر كل واحد منها في الكشف عن المعنى، أما المبحث الثالث: فقد وقفت فيه على الوظائف التي يؤديها المعنى في النص بأبعادها المترامية؛ فكانت الوظيفة الفقهية، والعقائدية، والنفسية للكشف عن مضمون النص بما ينسجم مع السياق العام.
