المستخلص: تنطلق الدراسة النقدية والفكرية للنتاج الفكري الجغرافي العراقي من المستوى العلمي لتلك الدراسات البحثية التي لا تظهر بشكلها اللائق ورونقها المبدع وأصالتها القديمة - الحديثة والمعاصرة وحتى المستقبلية من دون أن تجمع ويلقى الضوء على مضامينها ومناهجها وأهدافها وتحلل تحليلا علميا يصل بها إلى إضافات حقيقية لتطور الفكر الجغرافي العراقي ومن ثم تحدد اتجاهاتها ومساراتها ما توحيه إلى المستقبل من أفكار بحثية مواكبة ومعاصرة لما تدعو إليه الجغرافية المعاصرة لتغدو بنتاجها ليست تقليدية بل علمية إبداعية تبحث عن الأصالة الفكرية وتسمو لأن تكون بحوثا ذات نفع اجتماعي واقتصادي محلي وإقليمي، ومن هذا المنطلق جاء البحث لدراسة النتاج الفكري الجغرافي لأبحاث الجغرافيين العراقيين في حقل الجغرافية السياسية. إذ توصل البحث إلى استنتاجات متعددة أهمها التنوع في الاتجاهات التي تخص الدراسة في حقل الجغرافية السياسة حيث وجدت خمسة اتجاهات واضحة المعالم من الممكن تميزها وقد حصل الاتجاه الأول في دراسة الجغرافية السياسية العامة على النسبة الأعلى والبالغة (55%) بينما حاز الاتجاه نحو دراسة جغرافية الحدود بالمرتبة الخامسة والأخيرة بنسبة قليلة من الأبحاث المنشورة والبالغة (3%). وقد بين البحث أن هذا التغير في الاتجاه والكم تباين خلال المدة الزمنية (1950- 2015) وهنا تتحقق فرضية البحث الأولى، أما الاستنتاج الثاني أوجد البحث أن هناك علاقة طردية بين عدد المتخصصين في حقل الجغرافية السياسية وبين ما ينشر من أبحاث جغرافية بهذا التخصص، بمعنى كلما زاد عدد المختصين ازدادت عملية النشر بذلك التخصص، وهذا يؤكد فرضية البحث الثانية حول وجود علاقة بين التخصص الجغرافي وكم ونوع النتاج الفكري الجغرافي المنشور في المجلات العلمية الأكاديمية والمتخصصة العراقية بهذا التخصص الجغرافي البشري.

The study begins cash and intellectual Geographical intellectual production Iraq of the scientific value of these research studies which does not appear in its proper form and creative brilliance and authenticity of the old – modern and contemporary and even future without gathering and sheds light on the contents and methods and objectives and scientific analysis reaches to the real additions to the development of Iraq geographical thought and thus determine the direction and paths of what they suggest to the future of the ideas of research up to dale and contemporary to what they call contemporary geography to become the results are not traditional, but a creative science looking for intellectual originality because the research of benefit of social and economic local and regional, from this point on come to find the study of output intellectual geographical research coordinates of Iraqis in the field Political Geography, As it reached find the conclusions of multiple the most important diversity in the trends for this field is geographical where found five directions and clear it possible to distinguish them, The first trend in the study of Political Geography was the highest of (55%) while the trend towards geography of the border ranked fifth and last with a small percentage of (3%) of the geographical research published in the field of Political Geography, The research showed that this change in direction and quantity variation during the period (1950-2015) and here is the realization of the hypothesis of the first research,The second conclusion was the research is found a positive relationship between the number of specialists in the field of Political Geography and the publication of geographical research in this specialty in another meaning the granter the number of specialists, the granter the publishing process for that specialization, and this is confirms the second research hypothesis about a relationship between geographical specialization and the amount of published geographical output in scientific journals academic and specialized Iraqi with this human geographical specialization.
