المستخلص: تناول البحث اهتمام الإسلام بالمرأة، فأعطاها مكانتها الاجتماعية، وشاركت الرجل في بناء المجتمع المسلم ضمن الحشمة والأدب، وفي حضور مجالس الرسول، صلى الله عليه وسلم، العلمية، وساهمت في خدمة الإسلام عامة والسنة النبوية خاصة.
وبني الحديث على مقدمة أبرز الباحث فيها أسباب اختيار الموضوع، وتمهيد، تناول فيه عناية المرأة في الحديث في عصر النبوة، وبعده إلى نهاية القرن الخامس الهجري، وخمسة مباحث، وخاتمة.

This paper discusses the status of women in Islam and highlights their role in building the Muslim community and serving Islam in general and the prophetic sunnah in particular. The introduction of this study contains the rationale for this research and the interest of women in the hadith during the Prophet’s (PBUH) lifetime until the end of the 5th century. The following five topics are discussed in the paper: 1) Seven female narrators of the hadith; 2) Twenty women who supervised hadith scholars; 3) An investigation the hadith narrators who narrated a part or more of a book. This section includes two subsections: a) biographies of 22 narrators whose years of death were known, and b) biographies of 16 narrators whose dates of death were unknown; 4) Female narrators who were only slightly mentioned by male narrators. This section contains two subsections: a) biographies of seven narrators whose years of death were known, and b) eight narrators whose years of death were not known; and 5) Narrators who heard and transmitted hadith to others. This section consists of two subparts: a) biographies of 60 narrators whose years of death were known, and b) thirteen narrators whose years of death were not known. Finally, the conclusions and the findings of the research are presented.
