المستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على إسهام برامج العمل الخيري في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة والتعرف على المعوقات التي تواجهها وتحد من قدرتها على تحقيق أهدافها. وتجيب على التساؤل الرئيس التالي: ما مدى إسهام برامج العمل الخيري في تحقيق أبعاد التنمية المستدامة، ويتفرع من هذا التساؤل مجموعه من التساؤلات الفرعية: ما مدى إسهام برامج العمل الخيري في تحقيق البعد الاقتصادي، والبعد الاجتماعي، والبعد البيئي للتنمية المستدامة؟ ثم ما المعوقات التي تواجه برامج العمل الخيري المستدام بالجمعيات وتحد من قدرتها على تحقيق أهدافها؟ وتعد هذه الدراسة وصفية تحليلية تعتمد منهج المسح الاجتماعي. وتم اختيار عينة عشوائية من العاملين بالجمعيات يبلغ عددهم (226) مفردة، وتم جمع البيانات بواسطة الاستبيان، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن مؤسسات العمل الخيري تركز على أبعاد التنمية المستدامة وفقا للترتيب التالي البعد الاقتصادي في المركز الأول بمتوسط حسابي (2.52)، يليه البعد الاجتماعي بمتوسط حسابي (2.36)، وأخيرا البعد الصحي والبيئي بمتوسط حسابي (2.52). وبالنسبة للمعوقات الخاصة بالمستفيدين كانت أعلى نسبة لاعتماد المستفيدين على المساعدات المادية المقدمة وعدم الرغبة في العمل إضافة لانتشار الأمية وانخفاض مستوى الوعي بأهمية بالتأهيل والتدريب. أما فيما يتعلق بالمعوقات على مستوى مؤسسات العمل الخيري أتضح أن المؤسسات تركز على الدور التقليدي من خلال تقديم الدعم المادي والعيني للمستفيدين. وتوصى الدراسة بأهمية تطوير برامج مؤسسات العمل الخيري ونقلها من الدور التقليدي إلى تنمية وتطوير قدرات المستفيدين حتى يعتمدوا على أنفسهم، وبالنسبة للإجراءات المنهجية للدراسة تعتبر هذه الدراسة من الدراسات الوصفية التحليلية اللي تعتمد على منهج المسح الاجتماعي عن طريق العينة لعينه من العاملين بالجمعيات الخيرية بالمملكة وتعتمد الدراسة على أداة الاستبيان لجمع البيانات نظرا لما تملية طبيعة الدراسة، وبناء على النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة تم في ضوئها وضع مقترحات لتوسيع دائرة نشاط مؤسسات العمل الخيرى وحل مشكلاتها وذلك من خلال تسليط الضوء على الخطوات والوسائل الكفيلة لتطوير العمل الخيري وتمكينه من تحقيق أهدافه بكفاءة وفعالية.

The aim of this study is to identify the contribution of charitable work programs to achieving sustainable development and to identify the obstacles facing these programs and limit their ability to achieve their objectives. It answers the following main question: How well do charitable programs contribute to the achievement of sustainable development dimensions, and a number of sub-questions arise from this question: How well do charitable programs contribute to the economic dimension, social dimension and environmental dimension of sustainable development? What are the obstacles facing sustainable charitable programs in societies and limit their ability to achieve their goals? This study is an analytical descriptive based on the social survey method. A random sample of 226 employees was selected and the data were collected by questionnaire. The study found that philanthropic institutions focus on the dimensions of sustainable development according to the following order: the economic dimension in the first place with an average of 2.52, followed by the social dimension with an average of 2.36 and the health and environmental dimension with an average of 2.52) . As for the handicaps of the beneficiaries, the highest percentage of the beneficiaries' reliance on the material assistance provided and the unwillingness to work in addition to the spread of illiteracy and low awareness of the importance of rehabilitation and training. As for the obstacles at the level of philanthropic institutions, it appears that institutions focus on the traditional role by providing material and in-kind support to the beneficiaries. The study recommends the importance of developing the programs of philanthropic institutions and transferring them from the traditional role to the development of beneficiaries' capacities so that they can rely on themselves. As for the methodological procedures of the study, this study is one of the analytical descriptive studies that rely on the social survey method by sample for sample of the employees of charitable societies in the Kingdom. The study depends on the questionnaire tool to collect the data due to the nature of the study. Based on the findings of the study, proposals were made to expand the scope of charity organizations' activities and solve their problems by highlighting the steps and means to develop charity work and enable it to achieve its objectives efficiently and effectively.
