المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى توضيح مفهوم الأدب السياسي في ضوء العلاقة المتبادلة بين الأدب والسياسة. ويتألف من مقدمة ومبحثين وخاتمة. في المقدمة، يناقش الباحث وجهتي النظر اللتين تعتبر أولاهما أن الأدب والسياسة عالمان منفصلان لا علاقة بينهما، في حين تقول الأخرى بوجود علاقة وثيقة بين الأدب والسياسة. وفي المبحث الأول، يحاول الباحث توضيح مفهوم الأدب، مستنداً إلى رؤية كل من الفيلسوف الوجودي الفرنسي الشهير جان بول سارتر، والمفكر والناقد الإنجليزي تيري إيغلتون، وهما من أبرز من حاولوا البحث عن إجابة للسؤال: "ما الأدب؟". أما في المبحث الثاني، فيوضح الباحث مفهوم الأدب السياسي في محورين هما: "تأديب السياسة"، الذي يناقش تأثير الأدب في السياسة، و"تسييس الأدب"، الذي يتناول تأثير السياسة في الأدب. استخدم الباحث في دراسته المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لوصف آراء أبرز المفكرين والنقاد العالمين الذين كانت لهم نظريات في مفهوم الأدب، وتحليل تلك الآراء والنظريات للتوصل إلى نتائج حول مفهوم الأدب بشكل عام، إلى جانب مصطلحات أخرى ذات علاقة؛ مثل الأدب الملتزم، والأدب التخيلي، وخيانة الأدب، وثنائية الكاتب - القارئ. كما استخدم المنهج التحليلي التاريخي لاستعراض عدد من الأعمال الأدبية التي كان لها أثر في السياسة وكيفية تطور العلاقة بين الأدب والسياسة منذ القرن السادس عشر وحتى الآن؛ للوقوف على ما أحدثه الأدب من تغييرات في المجتمعات. وتوصل الباحث إلى جملة من النتائج أهمها أن الأدب السياسي ما هو إلا وسيلة لتسليط الضوء على الصراع المستمر الذي يعيشه المجتمع مع السلطة السياسية ومحاولة لاستنهاض همم الشعوب سعياً وراء التغيير نحو الأفضل، وهو إلى جانب ذلك محاولة للتأريخ للأحداث والوقائع السياسية. ومن النتائج التي توصل إليها الباحث أيضاً أن السلطة السياسية دأبت على الدوام، ولا تزال، على تفسير الأدب وفق مصالحها، على نحو يتيح لها ضمان بقائها وتنفيذ برامجها السياسية وترسيخ هيمنتها. وتلخص الخاتمة أهم نتائج البحث.

This research paper aims at clarifying the concept of political literature in light of the mutual relationship between literature and politics. It consists of an introduction, two themes and a conclusion. In the introduction, the researcher discusses two points of view pertinent to the investigated relationship. The first one states that literature and politics are two separate worlds that have nothing to do with each other, while the second confirms the existence of a strong relationship between literature and politics. In the first theme, the researcher attempts to explain the concept of literature, relying on the visions of the French existential philosopher Jan Paul Sartre and the English thinker and critic Terry Eagleton, who had essential contributions in trying to answer the question: "What is literature?". In the second theme, the researcher clarifies the concept of political literature in two axes; "literarization of politics" which discusses the impact of literature on politics, and "politicization of literature" which tackles the impact of politics on literature. The researcher adopts the analytical descriptive approach to describe the viewpoints of some prominent thinkers and critics who formulated theories on the concept of literature and analyze these viewpoints and theories to arrive at results on the concept of literature in general, in addition to some other related terms, such as: committed literature, imaginary literature, betrayal of literature and binary of writer- reader. The researcher also utilizes the historical analytical approach to survey some literary works that had an impact on politics and the way how the relationship between literature and politics has developed since the 16th century till now, in order to explore the changes brought into being by literature in societies. The researcher arrives at a set of results, the most important of which is that political literature is a means to shed light on the continuous conflict between the society and the political authority, in an attempt to awaken peoples to cause the desired change in order to achieve a better life. In addition, political literature is an attempt to make a documentation of political events and occurrences. The research also reveals that the political authority has always persevered in interpreting literature according to its interests, in a manner that allows it to ensure its existence implement its political programs and strengthen its hegemony. The conclusion summarizes the research results.
