المستخلص: This study aims to highlight the impact of world production of ethanol from wheat on the price of this agricultural raw material. To this end, a hypothetical-deductive approach and a statistical analysis have been adopted through the elaboration of a dispersion diagram, the assessment of a regression model and the calculation of the coefficient of determination. The findings have revealed the existence of a significant statistical cause-effect relationship between the world production of ethanol from wheat and the price of wheat in the international market, in view of the fact that the increase of the wheat ethanol production at the world leads an increase in the price of this cereal in the international market.

Cette étude vise à mettre en lumière l'impact de la production mondiale d'éthanol issue du blé sur le cours de cette matière première agricole. À cet effet, une démarche hypothético- déductive et une analyse statistique ont été adoptées à travers l'élaboration d'un diagramme de dispersion, l'estimation d'un modèle de régression et le calcul du coefficient de détermination. L'étude a révélé l'existence d'une relation statistique significative et d'un lien de causalité entre la production mondiale de l'éthanol issu du blé et le cours du blé sur le marché international compte tenu du fait que l'augmentation de la production mondiale d'éthanol de blé induit une hausse du prix de cette céréale sur le marché international.
