Study and Analysis of the Rules that govern the State of Consecration (Ihram) for Haj and Umrah from the City of Jeddah for Pilgrims and Visitors arriving through Air and Sea Ships Research Summary The research paper includes a preface, an introduction, six sections and appendices, summary and conclusion sections, in addition to an index. The introduction section mentions the reasons for choosing this important research topic, the approach that was followed to tackle it, and how the paper is structured. The first section of the paper describes how the idea of this research was initiated and how it grew to become the present work. The second section presents a literature survey that highlights previous studies on the subject. The third section lists and describes the stages that the state of consecration passed through from the beginning until nowadays. The fourth section highlights the rooting and jurisprudence adaptation of the subject. The fifth section describes the concept of Alignment in the context of consecration, and the sixth section mentions the main point of the research. The appendices at the end of the paper contains illustrative maps for the concept of Alignment according to the different opinions and sayings of scholars.
