Abstract: نهدف من خلال هذا المقال إلى الكشف عن الدلالات الرمزية والثقافية لمعتقدات وطقوس الولادة في العائلة التقليدية الجزائرية، التي تعكس رؤية المخيال الاجتماعي للجسد الأنثوي المنجب والعاقر، عبر ثنائية الخصوبة والعقم، من خلال معتقدات ترسم صورة مشرقة الملامح للمرأة المنجبة في مقابل صورة شديدة القتامة والقسوة للمرأة العقيمة، وطقوس تكشف عن مظاهر التمييز بين الجنسين في العديد من المناسبات العائلية التي يحظى بها الذكر ويتم بموجبها تفضيله على الأنثى.

Beliefs and birth rites in the traditional Algerian family-Anthropological approach. We aim through this article to reveal the symbolic and cultural connotations of beliefs and birth rites in the traditional Algerian family, these beliefs that reflect the vision of the Social imaginary of the fertile female body and sterile, and Rituals birth that reveal manifestations of gender discrimination.
