المستخلص: تناول البحث تعريف المشروعات الصغيرة والفرق بينها وبين المشروعات بالغة الصغر وقد عرض البحث أهمية المشروعات الصغيرة وتناول المشروعات الصغيرة في مصر من حيث الوضع الراهن لها. كما تناول البحث أهم الصعوبات التي تعاني منها المشروعات الصغيرة بصفة عامة والسياحية منها بصفة خاصة، واقتراح بعض التوصيات لعلاج هذه الصعوبات. وانتهجت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي واعتمدت الدراسة على الأسلوب الكمي.

The study dealt with the definition of small enterprises and introduced more than one definition such as the definition of the World Bank and the definition of the United Nations because of the lack of a specific definition, but different definitions according to certain criteria, including the number of employment and capital size and value of annual sales and the quality of technology used and legal standard. He also discussed the difference between small and micro enterprises from sources of finance, workers, assets, production requirements, production, technology, methods of management and financial performance. The researcher also presented the importance of small projects and their main advantages. And dealing with small projects in Egypt in terms of the status quo. The study also dealt with small tourism projects, a presentation of its definition and importance, and the most important financial difficulties suffered by small enterprises in general and tourism in particular, and the proposal of some recommendations to remedy these difficulties.
