المستخلص: حدود العقل البينية إحدى أهم أبعاد الشخصية وهي متغير خطي يتراوح بين الحدود السميكة التي تمتاز بتمايز الأفكار والمشاعر وانفصالها، والحدود النحيفة التي تمتاز بالميوعة والاندماج بين الأفكار والمشاعر والمدركات والميل إلى التخيل والأحلام، وهدف البحث التعرف إلى حدود العقل البينية لدى طلبة المرحلة الإعدادية من المتميزين وأقرانهم العاديين، وقد استعمل الباحثان المنهج الوصفي وبلغت عينة الدراسة (410) طالبا وطالبة من مجتمع البحث. وتبنى الباحثان مقياس (Hartmann, 1998) والمترجم إلى العربية من قبل (العباس، 2012) وقد تم التحقق من الصدق (الظاهري، وصدق البناء) والثبات باستعمال إعادة الاختبار والاتساق الداخلي ألفا كرو نباخ ولاستخراج نتائج البحث استعمل الباحثان، الاختبار التائي لعينة واحدة وتحليل التباين الثنائي. وتوصل البحث إلى عدة نتائج أهمها: وجود حدود العقل البينية الرقيقة لدى طلبة المرحلة الإعدادية وبشكل دال إحصائيا، كما بينت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في حدود العقل البينية لدى طلبة الإعدادية لصالح الطلبة من المتميزين، وكذلك بينت الدراسة جود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في حدود العقل البينية لدى طلبة المرحلة الإعدادية ولصالح الإناث لديهم حدود عقل بينية رقيقة.

The boundaries of the mind is one of the most important dimensions of personality which is a linear variable ranging from thick borders characterized by differentiation of thoughts and feelings and separation, and thin borders characterized by fluidity and the integration of ideas and feelings and perceptions and the tendency to imagine and dreams, the study aimed to identify the boundaries of the mind among the preparatory of the distinguished and their ordinary peers. The researcher used the descriptive approach and the sample of the study reached (410) students from the research community. The researcher adopted the scale (Hartmann, 1998) and translated into Arabic by (Al- Abbas, 2012); The Validity (translation, Face Validity, and construction) Stability using retest and internal consistency Alpha Cronbach to extract the results of the research, the researcher used T-test for one sample and analysis of binary variance. The study also showed the level of the boundaries of the mind of the preparatory stage students. Statistically significant differences in the level of the boundaries of the mind of The preparatory stage according the existence of statistically significant differences in the boundaries of the mind between the students of the middle school for the benefit of outstanding students, as well as the existence of statistically significant differences in the boundaries of the mind between the students of the preparatory stage and for the benefit of females.
