المستخلص: Political diplomacy had a major place in the conflict that brought together the two largest forces in the western Mediterranean basin (Carthage and Rome), known in history as the Punic Wars. Although this conflict was a military conflict between the most important military leaders and the most powerful armies in the western Mediterranean basin, peaceful political methods played a major role in this conflict. A period from the end of the First Punic War to the beginning of the Second Punic War witnessed a period of peace between thetwo warring parties. However, it was a period of political conflict and competition between the two warring parties, during which several treaties were concluded to distribute areas of influence between the warring parties and to restore balance in the western Mediterranean basin.

La diplomatie politique une grande place dans le conflit, qui a réuni les deux plus importants dans le bassin occidental de la mer Méditerranée (Carthage et Rome), qui est connu dans l'histoire comme les « guerres puniques », bien que ce conflit était un conflit militaire entre les dirigeants de cuivres les plus importants et parmi les armées les plus puissantes du bassin occidental de la Méditerranée , mais les méthodes politiques pacifiques d'un rôle majeur dans ce conflit, la période allant de la fin de la guerre punique a vu le début de la deuxième guerre punique de paix entre les deux parties belligérantes, mais ce fut une période de conflit et la rivalité politique entre les parties en conflit, il a été la conclusion d'un grand nombre des traités de pour la distribution Zones d'influence entre les deux parties belligérantes, et de rétablir l'équilibre dans le bassin occidental de la Méditerranée.

كان لدبلوماسية السياسية مكانا كبيرا في الصراع الذي جمع أكبر قوتين في الحوض الغربي للبحر الابيض المتوسط (قرطاجة وروما)، والذي عرف في التاريخ بإسم الحروب البونيقية ، رغم أن هذا الصراع كان صراع عسكري بين أهم القادة العسكرين وبين أقوى الجيوش في الحوض الغربي للمتوسط، غبر أن للأساليب السياسية السلمية دور كبير في هذا الصراع، فقد شهدت فترة من نهاية الحرب البونيقية الأولى إلى بداية الحرب البونيقية الثانية فترة سلم بين الطرفين المتحاربين، ولكن كانت فترة صراع وتنافس سياسي بين الاطراف المتحاربة، فقد تم فيها إبرام العديد من المعاهدات وذلك من أجل توزيع مناطق النفوذ بين الطرفين المتحاربين، ولإعادة التوازن في الحوض الغربي للمتوسط.
