teachers in the Directorate of Education in the Nablus Governorate in the light of the knowledge society. In order to achieve the aims of the study, the researcher chose a stratified random sample consisting of (164) male and female teachers from the population of the study which consisted of all teachers of science in the Directorate of Education in the Nablus Governorate in Palestine. The researcher also used the questionnaire as a tool for gathering information. The questionnaire included the following domains of the knowledge society (generating knowledge, spreading knowledge, and employing knowledge). In its final form the questionnaire consisted of (37) items. The study reached the following results: 1. The training needs of the science teachers in the knowledge society in the domains of generating knowledge, spreading knowledge , and employing knowledge were high whereby they attained an arithmetic means of (2,32), (2,34), (2,35) in this order. Also, the total degree of the domains of the tool was high whereby the arithmetic means was (2.34). 2. There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level of (a=0.05) in the degree of the training needs of the science teachers in the Directorate of Education in the Nablus Governorate in the light of the knowledge society which are attributed to the variable of the educational qualification, type of educational qualification, years of experience, number of sessions in all the domains of the tool and the total domain. 3. There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level of (a=0.05) in the degree of the training needs of the science teachers in the Directorate of Education in Nablus Governorate in the light of the knowledge society which are attributed to the variable of gender in the domain of generating knowledge and in the domain of spreading knowledge, while there were statistically significant differences in the domain of generating knowledge and the total domain for the benefit of the males. According to the results of the study, the researcher recommended the following: Training the science teachers on modern teaching models which are based on the structural theory which can help the teacher to move toward the knowledge society , and working on developing the skills of scientific thinking and methods of developing thinking among students by science teachers, and being well-versed in the methods of taking care of creative abilities among their students.
تهدف الدراسة الحالية التعرف إلى درجة الاحتياجات التدريبية لمعلمي العلوم في مديرية التربية والتعليم في محافظة نابلس في ضوء مجتمع المعرفة؛ وفي ضوء تحقيق أهداف الدراسة، قامت الباحثة باختيار عينة عشوائية طبقية قوامها (164) معلماً ومعلمة من مجتمع الدارسة الذي تكون من معلمي العلوم التابعين لمديرية التربية والتعليم في محافظة نابلس في فلسطين، كما استخدمت الباحثة الاستبانة كأداة لجمع المعلومات اشتملت على مجالات مجتمع المعرفة الآتية (توليد المعرفة، نشر المعرفة، توظيف المعرفة) التي تكونت في صورتها النهائية من (37) فقرة، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلي النتائج الآتية: 1-عن الاحتياجات لمعلمي العلوم في مجتمع المعرفة في مجالات توليد المعرفة، نشر المعرفة، توظيف المعرفة جاءت مرتفعة؛ حيث حصلت على متوسط حسابي (2,32)، (2,34)، (2,35) على التوالي كما أن الدرجة الكلية لمجالات الأداة جميعها كانت مرتفعة، حيث جاءت بمتوسط حسابي (2.34). 2-لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوي الدلالة (0.05 =α) في درجة الاحتياجات التدريبية لمعلمي العلوم في مديرية التربية والتعليم في محافظة نابلس في ضوء مجتمع المعرفة تعزي إلى متغير المؤهل العلمي، نوع المؤهل العلمي، سنوات الخبرة، عدد الدورات في مجالات الأداة والمجال الكلي جميعها. 3-لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوي (0.05 =α) في درجة الاحتياجات التدريبية لمعلمي العلوم في مديرية التربية والتعليم في محافظة نابلس في ضوء مجتمع المعرفة تعزي إلى متغير الجنس في مجال توليد المعرفة ومجال نشر المعرفة، بينما وجدت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مجال توليد المعرفة والمجال الكلي وجاءت الفروق لصالح الذكور. وبناء على نتائج الدراسة أوصت الباحثة بما يأتي: تدريب معلمي العلوم على نماذج التدريس الحديثة القائمة على النظرية البنائية التي من شأنها مساعدة المعلم على الانتقال نحو المجتمع المعرفة، والعمل على تنمية مهارات التفكير العلمي وأساليب تنمية التفكير عند الطلبة لدي معلمي العلوم، والإلمام بطرق رعاية القدرات الإبداعية لدي طلبتهم.
