The restoration means restore things to the original situation. The restoration and treatment considered one of the main missions of the Antiquities Authority. Without it, archaeologists cannot perform their mission fully to study of ancient history, whether ancient Egyptian, Islamic, Coptic and other different civilizations. The current research discusses philosophical aspects beyond the issue of keep, treatment and maintenance of ceramics. Restoration techniques can be used to hide damage of the ceramic works and to transform this damage into added values. The Japanese may first use this technique to treat broken ceramic vessels using varnish Mixed with dust or powdered gold, silver or platinum powder. This technique named Kintsugi, where fracture is treated with a philosophy that is considered part of the work history and should be shown rather than concealed. The researcher sees the importance of shedding light on these contemporary methods and practices and benefiting from them in developing the teaching methods of restoration of ceramics in the Faculty of Art Education by feeding their courses with methods that provide visions and teaching approaches that promote the level of students intellectual and technical and contribute to the students formation of ' Contemporary intellectual developments. The research includes the following topics: 1. Methods of aesthetic restoration of ceramic works. 2. Restoration in Kintsugi style. 3. Methods of restoration by synthesis. 4. the method of restoration by stapling. 5. Materials and tools used in the restoration. 6. The effect of the Kentsugi restoration on contemporary ceramic art.
