520 |b Many researchers ask questions about the relationship between the modernity of the Arabic poem with Western modernity, and what changes happened to it in the post-modern direction. It is the question that can emerge upon reading the poetry production of a number young poets coming from the Persian Gulf. So, were the poetic experiences for a number of young poets coming from the Gulf just a response to external effects, or did they bear special traits by it? If it was cultural interaction that allowed the entering of some “postmodernist” traits to their production and which appeared in several of their texts, so what these traits are and what are their manifestations in these texts? A reading of several poetry collections of poets from the Persian Gulf has exposed the absence of the collective human voice and its retreat to the background of the poetic scene, all with the retreat of the role of the active intellectual and the faith in the human ability to change. And from here “death” has been the major theme that no group lacked in the reading report. This is by describing it as the major truth of existence that the singular being faces. Furthermore, when in the conscious glorifies with the inevitability of fate, the being folds upon itself to live its existential isolation. Thus the intimate and the human disappears, and the communication on the group and on the individual level fades away. Then, the marginal and the daily appears in many of these texts and the poetic language descends to a simple form of expression. Furthermore, sometimes identification with the inanimate and the animal appears in their voices. The human is objectified and the animal and the inanimate are humanized on the one hand, and the senses of hearing and seeing dominate on the other hand as they are the main two ways to notice surrounding things. Such a matter intensifies the image of loneliness and isolation that retreated by the role of the human and the role of the intellectual to the margin in the age of globalization and increasing technological domination and of modern communication methods. This is what can establish a new aesthetic that is founded is based on difference and countering the common. It’s an aesthetic that flows from the focus on the individual, not the group, through the creative that establishes a new vision of the world which is built on its proper aesthetic experience.
