The study aimed to identify the attitudes of Al-Quds Open University students, Ramallah and Al-Bireh Branch, towards volunteering for different (gender, college, academic level). The study followed descriptive analytical method, and the study sample consisted of (100) students. The results of study indicated a great extent to readiness of the sample to volunteer, and the result was higher among females than males, while there were no differences in the result of difference in academic level and college in the study sample, and that their practice of volunteering in different areas of volunteering is very great for what they expect to be of great benefit to participate in. The researcher recommends activating the role of universities to prepare students and train them to enter different voluntary areas in society, and introduce some courses concerned with development of various voluntary motivations to participate. The researcher suggests the need for research into strategies that will develop the concept of volunteer work, specifically in the public education.
