|f With regard to its approach to national security in its environmental dimension, Algeria has adopted an approach aimed at strengthening the legal and institutional framework in this sector. This is evidenced by the abundance of legislation relating to it, through the enactment of laws regulating various economic and social spheres, in a manner consistent with scientific rules for environmental protection, as well as the emergence of independent central administrative bodies, for the first time monitoring the operation of the sector. It also supported the base at the local level with the new competencies added to both the municipality and the state as the main institutions for environmental protection and achieving sustainable development.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2021

|a لقد انتهجت الجزائر فيما يخص مقاربتها للأمن القومي في بعدها البيئي منهجا يهدف إلى تعزيز الإطار القانوني والمؤسساتي في هذا القطاع، وهذا ما يظهر من غزارة التشريع المتعلق به، وذلك بسن القوانين التي تنظم مختلف المجالات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، بطريقة تتوافق والقواعد العلمية لحماية البيئة. وكذا بروز هيئات إدارية مركزية مستقلة، وهذا لأول مرة تسهر على تسيير القطاع، كما دعمت القاعدة على المستوى المحلي وذلك بالاختصاصات الجديدة التي أضيفت لكل من البلدية والولاية كونهما المؤسستان الرئيسيتان لحماية البيئة وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.

|d En ce qui concerne la sécurité nationale dans sa dimension environnementale, l’Algérie a adopté une méthodologie visant à renforcer le cadre juridique et institutionnel de ce secteur. Comme en témoigne l’abondance de la législation dans ce domaine, qui passe par la promulgation de lois réglementant les divers domaines économique et social dans le respect des règles scientifiques relatives à la protection de l’environnement. Outre l’émergence d’organes administratifs centraux indépendants, supervisant pour la première fois la gestion du secteur et soutenant la règle au niveau local et de nouvelles juridictions ajoutées à la commune et à la willaya en tant que principales institutions pour la protection de l’environnement et le développement durable.
