هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على تأثير مستجدات العصر على انتماء المعلم لمهنته وإبراز أهم الوسائل الكفيلة لتعزيز هذا الانتماء. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف، استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي، حيث تم وصف واستعراض أهم آثار مستجدات العصر على المعلم، كذلك تسليط الضوء على أهم المعوقات التي تؤثر على أداء المعلم ونجاحه في أداء رسالته وفي ضوء النتائج تم تقديم تصور مقترح للوسائل الكفيلة لتعزيز انتماء المعلم لمهنته، منها ما هو خاص بالمعلم: يتناول طريقة قبوله، وإعداده لمهنة التدريس، واستشعاره لفضل العلم ومكانة المعلمين، وتحليه بآداب وأخلاقيات المهنة، ومنها ما يتعلق بجهة العمل، ووسائل تتعلق بالمناهج والحوافز. ثم خلص التصور المقترح إلى أهمية المجتمع والأسرة ووسائل الإعلام والتواصل المختلفة في إبراز الدور الحقيقي للمعلم، وتقديمه بصورة لائقة، تتناسب مع مكانته وأهميته في المجتمع، وتقديم خدمات ومزايا للمعلم من قروض الإسكان وخصومات وتأمين طبي ونقل مدرسي وغيرها من خدمات الدعم النفسي والعملي.
This study aimed to identify the impact of current developments on the affiliation of the teacher to his profession and to highlight the most important ways to promote this affiliation. Toward achieving this aim the descriptive approach was used, where the description and review of the most important effects of current developments on the teacher, as well as highlighting the most important obstacles that affect the performance of the teacher and his success were presented. As result of this study a proposal to promote the affiliation of teacher for his career was presented, which can be related to the teacher themselves such as how can they accept and prepare for the teaching profession, how can they feel about teaching role, and how they are with the ethics and the profession ethics. Moreover, some of the recommendations were related to the environment of the teaching, and some were related to curriculum and incentives. Lastly, the study concluded with the significant role of the community, family and the media to present the real role of the teacher, which can reflect the importance of the teacher in the society.
