المستخلص: This research ,entitled (The future of Kurdish language in social media platforms - Facebook as an example), is explores the language as an vital phenomenon in society and communication as its main function. The research also examines the language, relations, and its functions as well as it indicate the role of language in social relationships through the communication process, style, forms and its elements. The research also explores the role of social media in forming relationships and its impact on various community segments particularly languages. The research also explains that how Languages are used in social media platforms as well as clarify the level of impacts of social media on language. The paper also answer the questions, how the social media particularly Facebook plays the role in making changes in language and new technologies influence on language. Finally the research analyses the current status of Kurdish language in social media platforms by revealing some findings.
