|a لقد اهتم الدارسون المحدثون بتراث الرسائل في الأدب العربي، بوصفها نتاجا نصيا، وآثارا ملموسة من التراث القديم، يصور كثيرا من الأحداث السياسية والبنى الاجتماعية، ويرصد تجليات الثقافة والفكر في حقب التاريخ والثقافة العربيين، فهو أحد البواعث على دراسة الرسائل الديوانية الصادرة عن الدولة العباسة؛ لألها خير شاهد على الأوضاع السياسية والاجتماعية والثقافية التي آلت إليها الدولة في هذه الحقبة. إضاقة إلى ما كان لتجذر مصادر الثقافة والفكر الوافدة والمحلية في العصر العباسي الثاني من الأثر البين في فنون النثر العباسي في هذه الحقبة من الزمن، ومنها الرسائل الديوانية التي عنيت بالشؤون الإدارية والسياسية للحكم، فهي لسان حال الدولة، وعلى هذه الوثائق التاريخية يعول من أراد دراسة الحياة السياسية والاجتماعية، والثقافية في تلك العصور، فضلا عما حملته هذه الرسائل بين ثناياها من قيمة فنية وأدبية في تاريخ الأدب العربي.

The research explored the artistic characteristics that prevailed in this prose beating.
