يهدف البحث إلى تحليل بعض السمات الشخصية لمستخدمي مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، ولتحقيق هدف البحث تم تطبيق برنامج لتحليل السمات الشخصية مستخدماً مقياس أيزنك، وتم تصميم البرنامج بلغة فيجوال بيزيك دوت نت 2005، كذلك تم الاستعانة ببرنامج Microsoft Access لعمل قواعد البيانات اللازمة للبرنامج، وتم التطبيق على عينة مكونة من (١٤٥) طالب وطالبة، ومقسمة إلى (٨٦) من الإناث و(٥٩) من الذكور. وبينت النتائج عدم وجود فروق بين متوسطات درجات مستخدمي مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي ومتوسطات درجات غير مستخدمي مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في مقياس أيزنك.
The research aims to analyze some of the personal characteristics of users of social networking sites. In order to achieve the goal of the research, a program was implemented to analyze personality traits using the Eysenck standard. The program was designed in Visual Basic 2005, and Microsoft Access was used to create the necessary databases for the program. The sample consists of (145) students, divided into (86) females and (59) males. The study shows: there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of users of social networking sites and the average scores of non-users of social networking sites in the Eysenck scale of psychic level. Besides, There are no differences between the average scores of users of social networking sites and the average scores of non users of social networking sites in the Eysenck scale of the level of neuroscience. Also there are no differences between the average scores of users of social networking sites and the average scores of non - users of social networking sites in the scale of Eysenck level in extinction. There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the users of the social networking sites and the average scores of the lowest users of the social networking sites in the Eysenck scale of the level of neuroscience. There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the users of the social networking sites and the average scores of the lowest users of the social networking sites in the Eysenck scale for the level of the extant. Preferred sites do not differ depending on personality characteristics. There are differences between males and females in the use of the Internet.
