أولت المملكة اهتماما كبيرا عند وضع خططها التنموية 2030 للاهتمام بكل أطياف الشعب وتسخير كل إمكانياتها لتنمية المواطن السعودي بكل فئاته ومن أهم العناصر التي تساعد في تحقيق هذه الرؤية عنصر التدريب الذي يعد أهم الطرق الرئيسية للحصول على الموارد البشرية المناسبة كما ونوعا حيث أنه يقوم بتزويد الفرد بالمعارف والمهارات الفنية اللازمة لأداء الأعمال بفاعلية وكفاءة مما ينعكس إيجابيا على الأداء العام لمؤسسات المملكة ،وتصل نسبة الصم في المملكة العربية السعودية إلى (1-1.15) %من إجمالي عدد السكان، مما يشير إلى أن المجتمع السعودي يضم ما يزيد عن 300 ألف شاب وشابة من فئة الصم لديهم كل القدرات الجسمانية والذهنية والسيكولوجية والصحية، بل إنهم لا يختلفون عن أقرانهم ممن يتمتعون بحاسة السمع حيث يجيدون كل أنواع مهارات التدرب إذا ما أتيحت الفرصة لهم، ويعتبر التريكو اليدوي أحد التقنيات المستخدمة لإنتاج الأقمشة من خيوط الغزل أو الصوف، على عكس النسيج، فلا يتطلب التريكو أنوال أو غيرها من المعدات الكبيرة، وتعتبر عوادم الأقمشة من الخامات التي يمكن إعادة تدويرها وتوظيفها في تصميمات يمكن تنفيذها بأسلوب التريكو اليدوي، والذي سوف يقلل من مشكلة التلوث والتي لا تزال مستمرة برغم كل التقدم التكنولوجي. لذا فقد وجدتا الباحثتان أنه يمكن من خلال البحث القائم إيجاد فرص لتعليم فئة الصم فن التريكو لتنمية قدراتهن المهارية بالمجال الفني للدخول به إلى عالم ريادة الأعمال بإنتاج سلع وخدمات متميزة في السوق، وتوليد فرص عمل حر بما يناسب هؤلاء الفئة حيث يسعى البحث الحالي إلى إكساب الطالبات الصموات مهارة فن التريكو لتنفيذ منتجات ملبسيه متعددة من عوادم الأقمشة لإنتاج سلع جديدة متميزة في السوق المحلي بأسلوب التريكو اليدوي، وتنمية اقتصاد البلاد في مجال صناعة المنتجات الملبسية بأنامل شبابه المبدعة من فئة الصم، لتحويلهم من فئة مستهلكة إلى فئة منتجة مبدعة محققه ذاتها وقادرة على تحمل المسؤولية، وخفض السلوكيات السلبية التي تعيقهم عن الالتحاق ببعض الأعمال وتحقيق الأمن و الاستقرار النفسي لهم. وجائت أهم النتائج بفاعلية التدريب على فن التريكو حيث تم إكساب الطالبات المعارف والمهارات وتنفيذ منتجات ملبسيه من عوادم الأقمشة إلى جانب وجود اتجاه إيجابي قوي لدي الطلاب نحو تعلم فن التريكو لإنتاج منتجات ملبسيه من عوادم الأقمشة مما يؤكد على فاعلية التدريب. ولقد جاءت أهم التوصيات بضرورة تحفيز الطلاب والطالبات من الصم والبكم على التحاور، واحترام الرأي الآخر ودمجهم بالمؤسسات التعليمية، وإعداد المزيد من الدراسات في مجال الملابس التي تعزز ثقة الصم بأنفسهم وإشباع حاجاتهم أثناء تنمية تلك المهارات وضرورة التأكيد على تنمية الاتجاهات الإيجابية لديهم.
