|b In his novel Brasilia cafe, Ahmed Mahfoudh places fictional characters in a specific historical and social context. The novel oscillates between fiction and reality and allows through a story of life of a few young people attending this sanctuary of students and artists of the 70s, to present today’s youth a bright page in the history of Tunisia. The author succeeds in adding to the nostalgic side a freshness of the story, making of his novel a hymn to the youth. This article presents a reflection focusing on the fictional and real aspects of the novel.

|d Dans son roman Brasilia café, Ahmed Mahfoudh place des personnages de fiction dans un cadre historique et social bien précis. Le roman oscille entre fiction et réalité et permet, à travers le récit de vie de quelques jeunes gens fréquentant cet espace, repaire des étudiants et des artistes des années 70, de faire découvrir aux jeunes d’aujourd’hui une page lumineuse de l’histoire de la Tunisie. L’auteur réussit le pari de joindre la nostalgie à la fraicheur, faisant de son récit un hymne à la jeunesse. Cet article propose une réflexion axée sur les aspects fictionnels et réels du roman.
