أضحى الإبداع في هذا العصر أحد العلامات الفارقة في تميز الأفراد والمجتمعات، ومن هنا فإن النجاح في أي مجال من مجالات الحياة خلال القرن الحادي والعشرين سيرتبط ارتباطا مباشرا بمدى نجاح المؤسسات التربوية في بناء وإعداد الأفراد المبدعين، الذين يأخذون على عاتقهم مسؤولية القيام بكل ما يلزم من تغيرات للتكيف مع متطلبات العصر ومتغيرات المستقبل، حتى يتمكنوا من عيش حياة أكثر نجاحا كأفراد وجماعات. ومن هنا تأتي أهمية إطلاق وتعزيز الإبداع في التعليم؛ باعتباره من المتطلبات الحياتية الأساسية للبقاء والمنافسة في القرن الحادي والعشرين في عالم يموج بالاضطرابات والتقلبات، عالم يحتاج إلى مبتكرين مبدعين لا ناقلين سلبيين. ومن هنا تأتي أهمية إطلاق وتعزيز الإبداع في المدرسة المصرية، الذي يعاني التعليم فيها الكثير من المشكلات من أهمها أنه تعليم تقليدي يعتمد إلى حد بعيد على الحفظ والتلقين والاسترجاع لا على التفكير والابتكار والإبداع. وفي ضوء ذلك سعى هذا البحث إلى إلقاء الضوء على الإبداع في التعليم، وأهميته ومنطلقات تنميته وتعزيزه لدى الطلاب، مع تقديم مجموعة من المقترحات لإطلاق وتعزيز الإبداع في المدرسة المصرية، مستفيدا في ذلك من الدراسات والبحوث في هذا المجال، وكذلك من تجربة التعليم الفنلندي باعتباره من أفضل أنظمة التعليم في العالم.
In this era, creativity has become one of the characteristics distinguishing individuals and societies. Success in any area of life during the twenty-first century will be directly associated with the extent to which educational institutions succeed in cultivating and preparing creative people who become responsible for bringing about the changes necessary to adapt to the present era requirements and future variables, and have a more successful life as individuals and groups. Since creativity is a basic life requirement for surviving and competing in the rapidly changing world of the 21th century, releasing and promoting it in education has become an important issue. Despite such great importance of creativity development in the educational process, reflections upon the conditions of education in many countries, especially the developing world ones, can show us that the current education systems have failed to a large extent in developing and enhancing students' creativity. Education in our Egyptian schools is no better. The Pre-university Education Development Strategy in Egypt has emphasized that the current educational system neither provides students with sufficient opportunities for innovation, creativity and critical thinking nor develop their abilities to take the individual initiative, equal competition or participate effectively in teamwork. Therefore, it is important to release and promote creativity in the Egyptian school which suffers from a lot of problems; one of which is the traditional educational approach that depends to a large extent on information memorization, indoctrination and retrieving rather than on thinking, innovation and creativity. In light of this, this research seeks to shed light on creativity in education, its importance and the ways of developing and enhancing it in schools. Drawing in previous relevant research and reviewing the Finnish education system as one of the best systems in the world, the research also provides a set of guidelines for releasing and enhancing creativity in the Egyptian school.
