المستخلص: This research focuses on the importance of e-learning in business. Based on the literature review, a research model was adopted with factors that contribute towards the success of e-learning. E-Learning is another mode of educating employees.As in any learning model, the content and the learning environment should meet with employee preference and it should be motivating to the employees for learning.The learning environment should be flexible to employee preference and provide collaboration and discussion with others in the team. These are some of the factors that have been identified and studied in the research model. The research collected data from employees in various Kuwait based businesses. The data collection was based on a quantitative method, and thus a survey method was adopted. A self-administered questionnaire was developed and distributed to collect the perspective of the employees with regards to e-learning and the factors that contribute toward e-learning success. The data that was collected was analyzed using SPSS. Based on the various types of statistical analyses that were carried out, the importance of various factors such as meeting employee preference, motivation to learn, autonomy, greater control over learning, collaboration, supervisor and peer support, and job characteristics were understood. Of these the strongest significance was observed with greater control over learning. Managerial recommendations towards adopting e-learning and enhancing e-learning through various ways.
