لقد ساهم التطور التكنولوجي السريع في اختراع ماكينات ذات إمكانيات متعددة لزيادة معدلات الجودة والإنتاج على نطاق واسع لإبراز جماليات المنسوجات وهذا أيضا في مجالات أخرى مثل القص والحياكة والتطريز وقد ظهر تقدم هائل للطرق التكنولوجية والمعدات المستخدمة في تفريغ المعدات للخامات غير المنسوجة لإكسابها العديد من التأثيرات السطحية والألوان المختلفة. وقد أجريت الدراسة بهدف اقتراح مجموعة من التصميمات التي تبرز جماليات الزخرفة باستخدام جهاز الليزر سواء بالقص والتفريغ (cut) أو الحرق (engraving) لخامة الجلد الصناعى المشكلة على المانيكان سواء مفردة أو بالتوليف مع خامة أخرى. واتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي التطبيقي وذلك لملائمته لهذا البحث وللإجابة على تساؤلات البحث وتحقيق الأهداف. اشتملت الدراسة على استبيان وتحليل إحصائي لقياس عدة محاور للتصميمات المقترحة والتي تم تنفيذها وعرضها على مجموعة من المتخصصين للإبداء برأيهم. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى إمكانية الاستفادة من تقنية الزخرفة بجهاز الليزر وتطبيقه على خامة الجلد الصناعي محور البحث في ابتكارات تصميمات بأسلوب التصميم والتشكيل على المانيكان تتسم بالأصالة والحداثة. وتوصي الدراسة بالآتي: - إدخال أساليب الزخرفة الحديثة ضمن التقنيات المستخدمة لتنفيذ الملابس باستخدام التشكيل على المانيكان. - الاهتمام بتدريب الطلاب على استخدام جهاز قص الليزر لعمل الكثير من التقنيات. - البحث عن الجديد من الخامات المستحدثة في محاولة تطويعها لإمكانيات قص الليزر والتشكيل على المانيكان. - الاهتمام بزيادة الأبحاث والدراسات الخاصة لدراسة أنواع الجلود المختلفة الطبيعية أو الصناعية وتطويعها للزخرفة بالليزر.
