This study addresses the topic of "Al-Mukhadramun" (those who lived through the pre-Islamic and Islamic eras) among Hadith scholars and the ruling on their narrations. Al-Mukhadramun are defined linguistically and terminologically according to literary scholars and Hadith experts, along with their classifications and numbers. The study also examines the ruling on their narrations, focusing on the narration of a non-believer and the mursal hadith. The research concludes that Al-Mukhadramun are not considered companions (Sahaba) but are placed in a category following the companions. Their narrations from the Prophet, peace be upon him, are considered mursal, unless it is proven that they heard the hadith during their pre-Islamic state and narrated it after embracing Islam, in which case their narration is considered connected. The number of Al-Mukhadramun mentioned in this research reached eighty-seven individuals. The study emphasizes the importance of researching this topic due to the scarcity of comprehensive studies on it. This abstract was written by Almandumah, 2026, using AI.
