المستخلص: إن المتمعن بالدرس في تاريخ المجتمعات يجد أن المتدينة منها كثيرا ما تتعرض إلى انهيار حضاري تكون بدايته تخلف عقلي سرعان ما يجتاح شتى ميادين الحياة ينتهي في الأخير بعجزها المطلق، الشيء الذي يقضي وجوب إجراء الإصلاح الديني بها كمشروع واسع يضم مجموعة أخرى من مداخل الإصلاح الفرعية النابعة منه والتابعة له، والحال تنطبق على الجزائر التي نبغ بها في فترات متلاحقة علماء دعوا إليه بالرجوع إلى منابع الإسلام الأول وبتنقية العقل من الخرافة ليسترجع عقل الفرد الجزائري فاعليته ويكون في مستوى حجم الحاجات الموضوعية التي تضغط على الواقع بجوانبه المختلفة.

Une lecture analytique de l’Histoire des sociétés nous apprend que celles, dites religieuses, sont souvent menacées d’un déclin civilisationnel touchant tous les aspects de vie. Dans ce cas-là, la réforme religieuse est une nécessité pour un large projet réformateur comme le cas de l’Algérie qui a fait naitre des savants durant des périodes successives. Ces savants voient que la réislamisation permet à l’Algérien de libérer sa pensée tout en mettant à l’écart les superstitions pour bien appréhender les exigences de la vie.

Those who study the history of societies find that religious communities are often subjected to a civilizational breakdown, the beginning of which is mental retardation that soon engulfs various spheres of life and eventually ends with absolute powerlessness. This requires that religious reform be carried out as a broad project that includes another set of subsections of the reform emanating from it and affiliated to it. The situation applies to Algeria, where scholars in successive periods appeared who called to it by returning to the origins of Islam and purifying the mind from superstition to restore the effectiveness of the mind of the Algerian individual and would be at the level of the objective needs that put pressure on the reality in its various aspects.
