المستخلص: This study aimed to explore the nature of the relation between art and politics. It also intended to investigate the intellectual and artistic dimension of this relation from the multifaceted and contrasting perspectives of respondents through their life experiences and their middle ground stance between art and politics as both work and life. It also explored the meaning of art, its role, and its significance for political issues and their interrelated relationship. To achieve this objective, this study relied on the descriptive and analytic method (deductive and inductive method). A questionnaire and an interview guide were used to collect field data from 112 artists who were intentionally chosen. The study came up with some conclusions, foremost among which is the close relation between artists and the political issues of the State. The subjects of the study opined that politicians and artists could work together for diverse reasons because this alliance and participation between the State and artists top this relation. The results also revealed that the Egyptian artist has paid due attention to the crucial contemporary cultural and political issues which concern the Egyptian society. Of these crucial contemporary issues are terrorism and extremism. The results, further, established that art could be employed as a useful social tool, contributing to finding qualitative solutions.

تهدف الدراسة إلى معالجة موضوع حيوي حول التعرف على طبيعة العلاقة بين كلا من الفن والسياسة، ودراسة الأبعاد الفكرية والفنية للمبحوثين ورؤاهم المتعددة والمتباينة من خلال خبراتهم الحياتية وتوسطهم بين الفن والسياسة كعمل وحياه، حول معنى الفن، ودوره، وأهميته في القضايا السياسية، وطبيعة العلاقة التشبيكية بينهما، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي (الاستقصائي الاستقرائي المقارن)، واستخدمت استمارة الاستبيان ودليل المقابلة لجمع البيانات الميدانية واعتمدت على عينة قوامها (112) تم انتقائها بشكل عمدي من الفنانين. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج أهمها وجود علاقة وثيقة بين أهل الفن والقضايا السياسية بالدولة، كما يشير أفراد العينة أنه أمكن حضور السياسي والفني في موضع واحد لأسباب متنوعة، وأن علاقة التحالف والمشاركة بين الدولة والفنانين جاءت على رأس العلاقات بينهم، كما أظهرت النتائج اهتماما كبيرا من قبل الفنان المصري لأهم القضايا الثقافية والسياسية المعاصرة التي تؤرق المجتمع المصري، وأن أهم القضايا السياسية المعاصرة المنشغل بها والمتعاطي معها تبرز على رأسها قضايا الإرهاب والتطرف، وأنه يمكن تحويل الفن إلى فن نافع ومنخرط اجتماعيا ومساهم في خلق حلول نوعيه.
